As you know Ive been having problems finding a few songs I recorded on biab 2010.I managed to find one and opened it to play.Ok here are the problems Im having.Sometimes the song will play until part way through the song it speeds up and Im sure I can hear another drum track in the background.Then when I do a restart The yellow message just freezes and the song plays with a terrible latency and I cant stop it until I hit the buttons on my keyboard ctrl alt del even then it could take as long as a minute before Im able to close biab.Obviously Im disapponted with this but just have to say I have no problem loading and playing songs from the styles.It appears there is a conflict on my PC between biab 2010 and 2011 so I will just redo the songs again in the new version but I am disappointed with the problems Im getting Frankie

Do the songs have frozen tracks?
Were they froze in 2010 and now BiaB is attempting to play those licks with the new tracks and engine?
Maybe you froze some tracks with the 'un-needed +/-' files being used. (?)
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

The track was frozen but I unfroze them.Be fore unfreezing them Rharv only the drums would play(I hadnt frozen it).Its when I did unfreeze them is when the problems started.I have contacted PG yesterday but havent had a reply yet.thanks Frank

I guess what I'm saying is if the song had frozen tracks that used the files that got erased, then it may be an issue.
The fact they wouldn't play while frozen points to this as a possible cause.
Did you erase the "un-needed +/- files?
If you did not erase them yet, do you have a check in the 'use +/- files' box?
Set it so you CAN use them and see what happens
Otherwise I'm not sure what the fix would be for this issue.

to all here have I been misleading you.IVe always used the HD continually plugged in to the usb port and what Ive now done is taken out the 2011 version and plugged in the 2010 version and lo and behold there are the missing tracks(all my recorded songs)So it seems that everything I record is held in the HD something I didnt realise.So my question now is how can I get my songs into the new version so I can used the soloist for my songs,Thanks Frankie... if this question sounds dumb then I apologise in advance

Find them on the old external HD via Explorer, Copy and Paste to your new external HD.
