That's a bad idea IMHO. It will decrease security of the computer, making it more vulnerable to viruses, trojan horses, etc.

It is better to just alter access permissions for the BIAB directory, i.e. set up "Full Control" for regular users.






on the other hand, many people use a dedicated PC for music making, and do not have it connected to the internet. If the computer isn't online (or networked to a PC that is) there is no problem turning off security features. In fact, it may be desirable in many cases to turn off everything that isn't needed for making music.
