I accidently decompressed all my WMA RealTracks. How do I easily remove them? I did a search on this problem and Mac pointed out the Archive button as shown in his quote below. In version 2011 this button seems to be missing from the RealTracks Settings Panel.
"All you have to do is open BB and go into the RealTracks Control Panel by clicking on the Sax with the Waveform on it toolbar. Then click on the Settings button in that window and hit the Archive button. Follow the directions to delete a .wav files and run from .wma instead. Best to handle it this way rather than just deleting files on your own. --Mac"

Dave,
If you are going to be using BIAB without using the +/- files, I suspect that the "Erase Un-needed +/- files" might also remove the wav files. I'm not sure on this, though. I think it's probably a good idea for you to use Live Help or send and email to support and ask PG Music.

Thanks Noel but I had already tried Erase Un-needed files before I wrote this post and it did not erase the WAV files. I had previously performed the Erase Un-needed files when I installed 2011 9 days ago so at least when I accidently decompressed not so many WAV files were created. I now have 299 Gbytes in the RealTracks folder and 37 Gbytes in the Drums folder! If I had not previously erased the un-needed files I would have well over 1 terabyte in those folders.

I think I'd be searching for .wav files using the old Dos window, and then using a command line or script to whack them myself.
To be honest I'm a Linux/Unix type of guy and I'd copy them to an external drive, mount it in linux and just use a quick script to get them all. I recall a utility that was in the software to remove these, dig deep and you might find it.

Interesting that the Archive button is on the Drums preference settings. I selected Archive and it deleted the drum WAV files then asked me if I wanted to archive the RealTracks....problem solved.
