Hallo,
wenn ich BB auf meinem Asus EeePc (Netbook mit Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit) mit angeschlossenem 32" Flachbildschirm (VGA-Verbindung) starte, erscheint es kurz auf dem 32" Bildschirm, verschwindet und wird nicht mehr gesehen. Das Programm läuft noch. Es liegt noch in der Taskbar. Anscheinend kommt BB mit dem großen Display nicht zurecht. Diesen Fehler hatte ich auch schon unter 2010.5. RealBand läuft hingegen einwandfrei und hat das Problem nicht.
Es wäre schön, wenn der Bug bald beseitigt würde.

Welche Auflösung verwendest Du denn auf dem 32 Zoll Screen?
Die EeePC können über VGA doch eh nur bis 1024×768 an externe Monitore ausgeben, was für BIAB kein Problem sein dürfte.

1600x900, aber auch bei 1920x1080 (diese Auflösung wird eigentlich von Windows empfohlen, aber da ist mir die Darstellung zu klein) verhält sich Biab genauso. Da es ein 16:9 Flachbildschirm ist, kommen andere Auflösungen nicht in Frage. Die Anzeige wäre verzerrt - das Seitenverhältnis würde nicht mehr stimmen.

Bei mir läuft BIAB auf einem 23 Zoll Monitor bei 1920 x 1080 problemlos.
Allerdings PC mit Monitor per DVI angeschlossen.
Tippe weiterhin auf Probleme des VGA-Ausgangs des Eeepc oder des Grafikkartentreibers. Ich habe auch einen EeePc (1005 HA), und habe gelegentlich Probleme mit der PowerPoint-Ausgabe, wenn ein Beamer per VGA angeschlossen ist. .

Ja, aber dann verrate mir bitte, warum alle anderen Programme (RealBand, Internet Explorer, sämtliche Office Programme, Sibelius etc.) einwandfrei laufen! Die haben keine Probnleme - nur Band In A Box. Am Grafiktreiber wird es von daher bestimmt nicht liegen. Der arbeitet einwandfrei.
Du wirst doch bestimmt auch einen Flachbildfernseher haben. Könntest du deinen Eee-Pc vielleicht mal daran anschließen?

Geht leider nicht, mein LCD-Monitor hat keinen VGA-Eingang, nur digitale Eingänge DVI und HDMI.
Hast Du denn Deinerseits mal einen anderen Monitor angeschlossen und eine andere Auflösung eingestellt? Läuft der EeePC unter XP oder Win7?
Schau mal bei YouTube ein paar BIAB-Tutorials an, z.B. die von mossite hier aus dem Forum. Viele sind auch in 16:9 und der hohen Auflösung - ohne irgendwelche Probleme.

Sorry, sehe gerade, dass Du ja Win 7 Ultimate angegeben hast.
Aber noch was anderes: Ist Dein 32" Flachbildschirm zufällig ein TV-Gerät? Falls ja, da ist oft der sog. Overscan eingestellt,d.h. die Auflösung ist horizontal und vertikal um ein paar Pixel größer, um das Bild randlos wie ein Fernsehbild zu machen. Das kann man bei den meisten LCD-TV aber auch ausschalten, falls ein PC am VGA-Eingang hängt. Schau mal in den Einstellungen für den PC-Modus. Vielleicht kommt BIAB mit dem Overscan nicht klar.

hmm... und alle anderen Programme können das... Da stimmt doch was mit der Video-Ansteuerung in Biab nicht (falsche, alte Bibliothek etc.). Biab läuft problemlos auf meinem 24" BenQ Monitor bei 1920x1080. Es muss an den 32" liegen. Mir ist noch etwas aufgefallen: Beim Starten meldet sich Biab ganz normal. Aber dann wird etwas geladen. Das geht aber alles zu schnell. Das einzige, was ich noch erkennen kann, ist, dass der Soft-Synthesizer TTS-1 vom Music Creator zum Schluß geladen wird. Ja, und dann verschwindet Biab. TTs-1 ist das einzige Fremdmodul. Aber daran kann es auch nicht liegen, weil das Verhalten schon vor TTS-1 bestand.

Aber BIAB "sieht" die 32" ja gar nicht. Ob 1920x1080 auf 22, 24 oder 32 Zoll ausgegeben werden spielt doch keine Rolle. Vielleicht liegt ein IRQ- oder Speicherkonflikt zwischen Grafiktreiber und den BIAB-Audiotreibern vor, der bei RB wegen anderer Treiber nicht vorkommt.

Gibt es auch in Deutschland einen Support, an den ich mich wenden könnte? Habe das Problem PGMusic in USA/Kanada schon gemeldet, aber nichts mehr von denen gehört.

M3C ist der deutsche Vertrieb. Ob die eine direkt in Kanada gekaufte Version supporten, weis ich nicht.
PGM wird sich schon noch melden, war ja Wochenende und wegen der Zeitverschiebung zu Kanada ist Montagmorgen bei denen ja jetzt erst.
Ich würde aber noch einen letzten Versuch wagen: BIAB zuerst mal ohne VGA auf dem Netbookscreen starten und mit verkleinertem Fenster beenden. BIAB merkt sich ja die letzte Fenstergröße vor dem Schließen.
Dann per VGA auf dem LCD-TV starten. Jetzt startet BIAB dort nicht im Vollbildmodus sondern als Fenster auf dem Desktop, der ja wie Du sagst korrekt angezeigt wird. Vielleicht läuft's dann.

Nein, das bringt nichts. Habe sämtliche Kombinationen mit dem kanadischen "LiveChat" durch: Paralleler Desktop, Desktop erweitert, Programm in die Taskbar gelegt, als Fenster geöffnet etc. Hat alles nicht geholfen.
