I just ordered the 2011 Ultra Pack Upgrade order 2009 and earlier; Once the order completed and the postage appeared on my receipt, there was an area to click on to download. My order is a harddrive that is being shipped to me. Is there part of this order that I would download as well? I'm confused.

They often email a link to download what you would like to use before the drive arrives.

Don't be too hasty with the download links. My HD worked flawlessly when I got it, but alas in my machinations to work out some local network challenges, I somehow wiped some of that USB and called PG to confess...
They sent me a series of links, and I'm still trying to sort out which I'll put "where". Meantime I've lost the dreaded GP5.dll (Guitar Pro Drive) and I'm hoping to be able to reinstall the UltraDrive later today.
Whether or not they'll send you the download links...I don't know. I'd wait...it won't be long for less worry!

It used to be (before real tracks) that it was okay to download because the files were not so many and so large. This is no longer the case. It even takes quite awhile to install from cd's. Better to wait for the hd, IMO.

I downloaded the BIAB and RB programs immediately upon ordering the hard drive. It didn't take too long with a fast connection and allowed me to play with the program while waiting for the hard drive and all of the other RTs and styles, etc. I didn't ask for a link to the new RT's because they are so big and would take a while to download. I think the program only file (BIAB & RB) was around 260 mb - not that big of a file to download these days. I would download the file and tinker with it, but that is just me. If you are running everything from the internal hard drive you won't hurt or loose anything in the process (as far as I can tell). With all that in mind, being in Washington state I received the hard drive in a couple of days anyway. Good luck and have fun either way you go.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
