Well it's funny because I actually wrote the title to my post in hopes that it would trigger a little fun. I guess robh caught it but was to king to come out and say it.I figured someone would say," John it may help with your computer needs but doubt it'll help with your issues".No one bit.

It was sold out yesterday afternoon. I went to show it to a co-worker on Tuesday at about 4-ish, and it was already sold out then.

Now I'm really excited. I found this review at another company that sells the adapter.

Pros: Works perfect even for pro-audio sound cards that are in the 4 digit range.
Cons: None
Other Comments: Perfect for using my pro-audio sound card in my newer computer. Having a high end audio card is needed, and when I began going to VST's in my live sets over outboard gear, I needed a laptop. 6 yrs later I had to upgrade my laptop to keep up, unfortunately, companies don't make express card products. and rather wasting the 1100 invested, I figured I would try this. WORKS LIKE A DREAM. does not increase latency, and no audio hiccups. Its sticking out does not bother me, as I have various midi controllers on either side and front of the laptop, and 3 external HDDs, so there is always things around it. Don't fear its compatibility or thoughts of performance loss, this thing does not interfere at all

I plugged the PCMCIA card into the adapter and then plugged the adapter into the computer and that was it. Loaded the 64Bit KX drivers just like it was in a PCMCIA slot.

Yes it is different though.
I'd love to find a Win7 version of the old Win XP "silver"theme.
It's funny though looking at the new computer for awhile and then looking over at the Linux box is a little weird.

I just wanted to say that my experiences so far have been great with this new box. None of the dreaded issues of Win7x64 that keep popping up here. I love it!
And it's beyond fast. 2 sec to load a full RTs BIAB tune.
