I have two questions:
Is there anywhere I can enter the notes I am playing on guitar (in order from the low string to high string)and have BIAB tell me the appropriate chord for this sequence of notes?
Is there anywhere that BIAB can print out the guitar chords "picture" for the particular song I have programmed in, preferably with no wasted space for staff lines . Just the chords over each bar.

Printing Diagrams is easy, just go to the lead sheet view unclick the option for lines, then go to Notation options and use the drop down box for guitar chords.
Then you mess with the font size and lines etc.
As to the entering notes and having it tell you I can't do that unless you phone me, then I can usually hit it dead on. But you are going to have quite a long distance bill. (Joking)
I do have a friend who has called me, guitar in hand, and played me a chord and asked what it was. Hilarious.
So at the end, you can print out just the chord diagrams and chord changes bar by bar, yes.
As to the other question I don't know.

It's not specific to the guitar, but BIAB has a terrific tool at Window, MIDI Chord Detection. This allows you to play the notes on a MIDI keyboard and it will suggest the chord name. It also gives up to three alternate possible spellings. Voicings other than the root do not matter.
You can buy an inexpensive MIDI keyboard for well under $100.
For specific guitar voicings, there are many free Internet tools that you can Google, such as this one: http://www.michael-hogg.co.uk/gce_instructions.php I defer to the guitarists about which may be any good.

One other question...
Where is the list of acceptable chords to enter in BIAB?
I seen it somewhere a while ago and don't remember where it is.
I just checked online FAQ and didn't find it there.
Also, probably just as important, are there any common chord notations that BIAB will not recognize (as in the C+5 mentioned above .... somehow you just had to know it was the same as C+ ! And the C+5 was right in the sheet music book for Caberet so I doubt it was a mistake. And google didn't help either, When I gooogled "C+5" (in quotes) it gave me many listings the C5 power chord (two notes) Go figure.

Hi Kristen,
When I opened BIAB and looked in "Help", I found a list of chords under the "Index" listing of "Chord List". I think that this might be what you are after.

Also, if you open the chord builder window, there's a button that let's you scroll through the different acceptable chords.

There are several web sites that have "chord finder apps" but for just a very small amount of money Chord Wizard is a fantastic program.

I think it was a cm7 but kind of hard to tell from this far away.
