I can easily get 20- 30 tracks with about 50 FX
I've had 24 tracks and recorded 8 more at once (making 32 total). Temp audio is directed to a second drive. That's all that machine does though; audio and video. I think I only have 20 processes running at startup. It's pretty streamlined for audio.

I use it less for video now that I have a dual-core Win7 machine. It's so much faster processing video.

I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
