That the Mac-version is on par with the PC-version so that there is no difference between the versions that have the same numbering like 2010.5 or 2011. (I'm well aware that the gap has closed a lot in the late versions...) Personally my concerns a formoast about the Edit-functions and secondly I would appriciate if both versions where in wav-format. Had there been no difference I would have upgraded to the Audiophile version already.
Hope it doesn't seem that I come on to strong here - it is just a humble costumer request.
For institutions there need to be a version for servers on smaller schools, since the 5-pack is not allowed by our technicians and the full license costs over 2.000:- USD over here...
kind regards

Pgmusic has been trying to do this for years.
Mac's are sold as an all inclusive system, you don't need Band in a Box.
They thwart developers, and for years had no compilers available to even port the system.
And again, you point out the fatal flaw, even if they make it will anyone fork over the money for it?
Lots of schools here have a version on PC's, I practice with a band on Wednesdays and we use their computer to play more complicated midi passages of some parts, and the software is there.
That said, the recent inclusion of support for playing and rendering songs on Ipad, Iphones and new Iplayers, as come in the recent version, and the support for that app, given it's new code to run a server on the computer side, should be a possible inclusion in the next release.
The "make the versions the same" argument rises about 20 times a year, why do YOU think it's so hard to do? I doubt it's due to being lazy.

The main issue for me personally is the difference between the editing function in the PC version and the Mac version - they are really worlds apart. If you guys are on your normal schedule your programming the Mac version like crazy right now - so right now is the time to make my annual request and reminder!!!
