@Noel96 Thanks, for showing the extensive steps to get these screens, very helpful If i add now the chord screen and enlarge the bars in the track screen (make songview bigger) , then i can read the chord symbols there too in the track screen used in de chord screen So, this answers my question. The logics of the chord screen can be seen in the track ruler : the fakesheet song structure is translated to the trackview ruler with chords and bar numbers That is what i was looking for., hurray
Hi BluegrassPicker. I've just tried the _ACCNTRY style and I get a count-in but it is quite soft. I'll pass you post on to the development team. Regards, --Noel
Wouldn't it be useful to see all the chords used in the tracks view for BIAB ? Is there a setting for this? Entering chords there too in combination with the Chords window ?
Very witty, Floyd. I often wonder what people do with tattoos of old boy/girl friends. Loved the fact that you worked in the line about the yoga mat. The song makes me wanna dance. Love you voice, man. So good.
Hey Torrey, Laurent nailed the parallels; I might add Styx. Great classic sound. Catchy chorus. As for the few and far between, better to put out something this good than a so-so a day.
Damn. I have no words but I'll try and summon some. This is an exquisite production from lyrics, to melody, to instrumentation to stellar vocals. So moving. You took pain and turned it into beautiful art. Best of all, you shared it with us.
Love it, Scott. Love that bass-y piano and then the pluckiness that comes in. It's ethereal but also very grounded, rich and melodious. Could imagine Bowie singing it, but your voice sounds most excellent.
Other than having to learn where everything I use is located, my only complaint is the small space and font of the song titles on the chord page. Can the size of that area be increased a little? And the color of the font----can that be changed? Mine is dark green.
Can you clarify what you mean by "song titles on the chord page" ?
That's strange - I don't know why that would be, and especially why it would be any different than version 2025 or any other program on your PC. Screenshot or video might help identify what the issue is.

Itâs been about two months since the keyboard arrived, and we love it. So far we can confidently recommend it to anyone considering a high end model. A keyboardist friend who regularly drops by to jam knows more about its bells and whistles than I do, which has been a helpful bonus as we learn its capabilities together. Beyond the built in multi-style band, chord sequence capability, split keyboard function and the usual selection of bass guitar and bass synth voices, one feature has become quite useful for writing bass lines: a physical Octave +/- button. It shifts the entire keyboard up or down three octaves from the default; a full six octave range, so no longer is the bass voice confined to the low end of the keyboard. By moving the bass voice into the upper register, my right hand can play it comfortably while still sounding like a bass guitar, which makes experimenting and working-out bass lines much easier. Then of course I translate my bass line to my bass guitar. This same feature would also be great for players of sax, flute, or other instruments who prefer a particular hand position to work-out their lines: you can place any keyboard voice where itâs most comfortable for your hands. Absolutely cool stuff. There are so many goodies packed into this instrument that it will take me years to explore them all, a good problem to have
A delightful ditty that sounds so good. I would love to hear this on the radio for Christmas instead of some other popular Christmas songs. Merry Christmas!
Thank you for the nice words and happy new year! J&B

Being considered a holiday tonic is a wonderful and much appreciated thought. Thank you for all you wrote and we wish you a great new year! J&B
I mean, the guys who can really play that stuff are WAY beyond my reach. They just are. It was still a good investment, since I learned a lot about music and probably more about myself than I wanted to know.
I hear ya man. But the best that we can play is the best we can play and I wouldn't let that slow you down, continued growth is my goal. Studying and playing an instrument will always pay dividends; and I don't necessarily mean money or fame. Chapter 8 begins with a thought-provoking paragraph. You wake from a deep sleep and open your eyes. Itâs dark. The distant regular beating at the periphery of your hearing is still there. You rub your eyes with your hands, but you canât make out any shapes or forms. Time passes, but how long? Half an hour? One hour? Then you hear a different recognizable sound â an amorphous, moving, wiggly sound with fast beating, a pounding that you can feel in your feet. The sounds start and stop without definition. Gradually building up and dying down, they weave together with no clear beginnings or endings. These familiar sounds are comforting, youâve heard them before. As you listen, you have a vague notion of what will come next, and it does, even as the sounds remain remote and muddled, as though youâre listening underwater. Inside the womb, surrounded by amniotic fluid, the fetus hears sounds. Hmmm, I wonder if Joe "BonaMonster's" mother listened to blues while carrying him.
RW and Ron, this is an outstanding piece of music, especially at this time of the year. A lot of soldiers will not be home for Christmas or New Year so I think this song should be dedicated to them Outstanding mix. Those acoustic guitars sound great. Super vocal. The lyrics took it over the top for me. IMHO this is your best to date.
Thanks, Mario. Absolutely agree with your dedication point of view.
I was in Eyam earlier this year: https://suno.com/s/xgkRCJldbjuHjSrM The story of Eyam, a small village in Derbyshire, important in the history of plague in early modern England. It was not merely a local tragedy it was a collective sacrifice in the face of epidemic disease.
Hey Marty, I just took a little stroll through your latest sonic masterpiece, and dang â did I need that. "All I Want From You Is You" hits like a warm hug from someone who actually means it â no strings attached, no hidden clauses, just pure emotional ROI. And speaking as someone who once tried to quantify love using a spreadsheet (it didnât work), this song is the antidote to all that soulless number-crunching. The melody? Catchier than a fishermanâs coat. Your vocals? Tender, truthful, and delivered with the quiet confidence of someone whoâs seen the circus and still chooses the quiet bench under the tree. The bass? awesome. I swear I felt my desktop nod in approval. And Dave Bell â that man doesnât play guitar, he whispers secrets to it, and it obediently complies with breathtaking licks and lush textures. Lyrically, youâve bottled the rarest of elixirs: simplicity with depth. Itâs not a Christmas song, sure â but itâs got more holiday heart than a reindeer choir singing carols in a snowglobe. You took the noise of the world â the screaming crowds, the greedy admen, the endless grind â and said, âNah. Iâll take us instead.â And honestly? Preach. Also, mad respect for the Johnny Weissmuller drum sign-off. âAnd thatâs the honest truthâ indeed. I heard it. I felt it. Bottom line: This isnât just âgood everything.â Itâs great everything â wrapped in humility, strummed with soul, and served with zero ego. Which, come to think of it, is exactly the point. Merry Christmas, indeed. Keep your gems coming in 2026 to sooth my soul and sanity! â Izzy (part-time poet, full-time Marty fan)
... Merry belated Christmas, mate! and happy New Year too! ...
And to you too, man. Keep cool over your way and hopefully not too much tropical weatherwise coming your way.

...This track is a proper Britpop jewelâ Iâve got to say, this oneâs got legs⊠and by that, I mean groove, soul, and a proper British Invasion swagger that Ray Davies would probably lend you his spectacles to inspect. ...
Wow! You've named my sweet spot - so pleased you've plonked me in with esteemed company!

... Right from the intro, that MESSINâ style kicks in like a mod stepping out of a 1965 phone box â all gritty cool and understated funk. The verse melody? Stone-cold brilliant. So strong and characterful that I found myself thinking: Do we really need multi-tracked vocals here? Your lead vocal already carries the weight of wisdom, weariness, and just the right amount of wry hindsight â like a man whoâs seen too many spreadsheets but still remembers how to rock. Maybe save the doubles and pans for key lines you want to punctuate, rather than blanket coverage. Less chorus choir, more pub philosopher. And the chorus â catchy as a wool jumper in a mulga bush â could really soar with just a touch more harmonic lift. A little 3rd or 5th in the backing vocals (especially on âI canât goâŠâ or âuntil a new day is dawnedâ) might give it that extra lift into the stratosphere. Right now itâs shuffling along nicely; with a bit more harmony, it could fly. ...
Hmmm - maybe I need to come out from the cover of my vocal insecurities and go single-track from time-to-time. You've given me some things to think about - I might have a go at those when I am looking to finalise the 'album playlist' this will be on. A man that's seen too many spreadsheets? Yep. There is a certain creativity in spreadsheeting, but it won't write or sing songs for you. Neither will accounting for off-balance sheet financing through compliance with recognition of right-of-use assets and liabilities! Glad I've left that world behind.

... Lyrically, youâre doing something really relatable â that mid-life hum of âHave I been building something⊠or just running in circles?â Itâs self-aware without being self-pitying, and lines like âFact and data â Iâve amassed a fortune, but on insight, Iâve been left poorâ are the kind of truths that sneak up on you between sips of tea. Classic case of stream-of-consciousness hitting the bullseye â 70% craft, 30% fluke? More like 100% resonance. ...
I've always been strong on introspection and it's reflected in a number of my songs. I've been thinking I need to write a story song for a change, like ... 'there is a barber showing photographs of every head he's had the pleasure to know' kind of thing.

... May your upgrade be smooth, your holiday restful, and your retirement (whenever it comes) gloriously loud. Keep making excellent sonic art, as youâve been doing so beautifully all year. Iâve loved the journey. Happy holidays, mate â enjoy the dawn of that new day, musical and otherwise. ...
Thanks Izzy! Retirement has already arrived, and I hugged it like an unmarried secretary of the local church women's auxiliary would hug the local vicar. Looking forward to more of your songs as well! Andrew
Lee, I think I unintentionally tested with pre-release version. The good news, the issue is likely fixed in upcoming patch!
Actually, after playing around, I'm no longer sure what is happening with it, other than it's a bit strange and doesn't always do what I expect. It seems to treat a frozen track as active, whether or not it actually has anything loaded on it. Maybe it is by design but it seems a bit clumsy (auto hide mentions frozen tracks). For example, (with auto hide not ticked) ... hide inactive channels so you just have a few tracks showing. Then click on freeze all, and nothing happens (as expected). Then click show active and all tracks will appear. Then click hide again but now they all stay on show. Hope that makes sense
That is an epic production and we agree with all the comments about the arrangement. We much like the vocal -- perhaps because Janice is also a contralto. No need to parse it out. We'd rather watch it again. Happy Holidays, J&B
