Hi OleDog,
A very nice song and good vocals too. It struck us however, that the part in the middle (solo) and at the end is much louder than the rest of the song. You're inclined to turn down the sound there, which is a pity. But on the whole: good job!

Thanks for the input. I have lowered gain on instrument tracks during verses, so what you are hearing may be instruments returning to earlier levels. I hadn't noticed that but spent more time on levels during vocals. Thanks again.

Hi OleDog,
nice bluegrass arrangement. Enjoyable listen. I'd like to see the lyrics printed.

Here you go:
In Softly Fallin’ Rain
I’ve got a ticket I can give you Since you’ve set your mind on leavin’, We can hurry to the station, If you don’t mind the rain. Show your ticket at the window, You can board an evening train. Say goodbye there on the platform, In softly falling rain.
You’ll travel through the night To your distant destination You can ease your worried mind In the rhythm of the rails and the rain You’ll arrive some time tomorrow Where the answers you’ve been seeking Will be waiting to be found In softly falling rain. In softly fallin rain
I’ll stay here on the platform, writing our refrain Finding my melody and rhythm in the rain Listening to the echo from your distant train I’ll finally turn and walk away In softly falling rain. In softly falling rain.

Good straight up bluegrass. I thought you chose a good chord progression too. Good vocals throughout.
Enjoyed it.

Old Dog, I thoroughly enjoyed this from the first note. The bluegrass style sat perfectly with every part of the song. A very appealing vocal delivery, and great listen.

Hi OleDog, I really enjoyed the bluegrass instruments and to me it has kind of Celtic feel to it. Nice vocals and lyrics. Good song! Sonny

This is one hell of a great first post!
Great vocal, backing tracks and super lyrics.
As noted I would turn down the lead parts and the ending to better match the rest of the song. The song sounds unbalanced right now IMHO. YMMV.
I've accidentally swallowed a load of scrabble pieces. My next trip to the toilet could spell trouble.
