With this song I am continuing with another instrumental. A few years ago I accompanied my mom on a trip to Sedona, Arizona. I feel the Red Rocks area around Sedona is some of the most beautiful scenery you will ever find. This place left a lasting impression on me, and as a result this song was born! I recorded this for my mom because she loves this area so much. I was going for a "Southwest" feel/sound with this track and I feel that I got pretty close. I hope someone enjoys it! Thanks, Torrey

Wow, the groove on this is infectious! And that is some fantastic playing you did on this. I'm definitely getting a Santana sort of vibe with this one.

Thanks for sharing!

I don't think instrumentals get the true credit they deserve. This was so amazing, and while I have never been to the place that has inspired this particular song, I definitely want to go there now! Thanks for the share.

Torrey,

This really shines. Probably my favourite of your instrumentals- your playing has never sounded better and the melody the tune returns to is very catchy and uplifting.
Fantastic production- using the celtic rhythm guitar an inspired choice.
You`ve done your mom proud with this!

Torey, this is really beautiful! Has a real nice Santana/Phil Keaggy feel to it. Great tones on the guitar. Beautiful video.

Love it!

Hi Torrey,

I think everything's been said that this song deserves. It's amazing and a true pleasure to listen to. Your playing is outstanding - love the tone on your guitar. And I think you capture the feel of the Southwest quite nicely. I've been to Sedona three or four times and I fully agree with your assessment of its beauty.

That is a really great cut ... congrats on a wonderful piece!

Alan

Great intro. I really like the acoustic strumming which creates strong rhythmic base. Super guitar playing and the melancholy melody is a pleasure to listen to. Mix sounds really professional.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
