Hi all, I have watched several videos but am still puzzled with the problem I am having with Soloist. What happens is that it will create another instrument just as I choose but it does not create any notes/music. For exampe if I create an organ solo it will add an organ to the mixer at the bottom, either midi or real track, but there will be no music created.
That icon is there, and will vary depending on the instrument I choose to solo, for example right now I have a "T" for Tenor Sax. But when I click on that nothing happens. I have BIAB 2018. What is consistent though is that when I choose Soloist it always puts the instrument that i choose in that bottom track on the mixer. Just no music? So it creates the track but with nothing in it?

The blue snowflake icon indicates that your Soloist track is frozen. With this in place, it will not be possible for anything to be written to the track because freezing tells BIAB that it "wants this track kept exactly as is".
Click on the blue icon to unfreeze. Add your soloist part. Now generate the song and play it.
