I've been out of touch for a couple months, working way too many hours. I hurt my back a few days ago, so I've had a little down time recovering at home. So, I wrote this little tune. Most of the backing is RealTracks. I played some piano and synths, and programmed the drums, using Logic Pro X drummer. I hope you enjoy it! (All the video footage is royalty free.) From a guy who has been married to the same women for years this song hit home!
Steve IMHO this is your best to date.
This has it all, a great backing track, outstanding vocal and some super lyrics.
This is a keeper.
My dad showed me a 30-minute PowerPoint presentation of why one should always wear a condom during sex. They were all pictures of me!

As always, Steve, EVERYTHING about this is excellent.
A beautiful write. Compact, concise, complete. A very commercial sounding melody.
Your usual beautiful vocals and harmonies.
The opening is nice! The arrangement is excellent. You are a master at choosing the right instruments at the right time.
So many "nice little touches" in the production. Your piano parts are nicely played.
An excellent video! Very professional.
Top shelf. A big WOW.

Steve, everything and I mean EVERYTHING about this tune is top level!! The write first of all and then the performance and production. I like the way this one builds and when the chorus hits it is perfect! The solo in the middle is icing on the cake! Vocals are as good as we hear on this forum! A fan here! Thanks, Torrey

I really enjoyed this from start to finish. The introduction moving into the main song at 1:22 expanded the song into a new dimension perfectly.
This is really great form every angle.

Really professional-sounding, well-crafted song. What I liked best about it is that it doesn't have lots of melody notes/words--real economy there, so each word/note really counts. And sings easy, too.
Like others have said, vocal/backing is outstanding, RT selection and drums all fit perfectly.

Long time Logic Pro X user here...but so far too lazy to learn the drum functions. Thanks for the reminder  36 years next week for us. We get it! This quickly teared Janice up.... It's hard to add to what's been said...in particular floyd nailed everything. The clarity of the mix is outstanding. The upfront excellent vocals are so well performed and mixed - right where they should be. It simply sounds great on the monitors and we look forward to listening on the "living room" system and in the vehicles. Wonderful work - audio and video wise! J&B

What a tune! This is delightfully touching, and you can hear the sincerity in your voice. Not to mention, it is very well written. The perfect level of catchiness, and the way the backing tracks build and swell is incredible. Every time that chorus came in it's hard not to feel it in your soul. Very, very, very well done - amazing work! Thanks for sharing
