задумываю купить себе 4-х ядерный core quad. А умеет ли бэндинбокс работать с 4-мя процессорами? или хотя бы с 2-мя? или только 1?

А причем тут процессор?  Я, конечно, на всякий случай поинтересуюсь у службы технической подержки насчет Core Quad... С уважением, Михаил

По информации службы технической поддержки компании PG Music, Inc.,
тестирование Band-in-a-Box на компьютерах с процессором Core Quad не проводилось,
но они не видят причин, по которым программа могла бы не работать на таких машинах.

Результаты теста:
При создании аранжировки компьютер значительно "задумывается". Так вот в этот самый момент датчики показывают что задействовано всего лишь одно ядро, будь то двух-ядерный или 4х-ядерный процессор. Т.е. если разработчики научат в следующей версии бэндинбокс работать с несколькими ядрами то это будет прорыв в скорости обработки! А пока он работает только с 1-м ядром!

Спасибо за пожелание, я обязательно доведу его до сведения PG Music, Inc.
Вместе с тем, я был бы признателен, если бы Вы сообщили данные о конфигрурации Вашего компьютера,
так как его "задумчивость" может быть (и скорее всего) связана не с использованием только одного ядра процессора,
а совсем с другими причинами.
