I called this tune Ansellia. It's a variety of orchid and I thought it suited the tune all played on the keyboard.

Only two super midi tracks used, but multi layered.

MIDI SuperTracks in song: 2065:Piano, Rhythm NewAgeAlbertiPretty Ev 100
MIDI SuperTracks in song: 1805:Synth Pad, PopBelieve Ev16 065

Ansellia

A very pretty melody, Graham- it stays with me and I like the orchid images.
So this is your keyboard playing patched with BiaB midi and another piano Supertrack in the background? Excuse a midi newbie`s questions.

Hi Robert, the piano midi originally came from the midi super tracks. The piano melody was then transported over to reason 10 where I duplicated then layered strings over piano the melody. My keyboard isn't full sized but it's perfect for my use. It's an M audio keyrig 49. Had it for a few years now.
I also used the SuperTracks in song: 1805:Synth Pad, PopBelieve Ev16 065 and duplicated that a couple of times for the soft orchestral backing. So important to keep using midi for slow melodies like this and it would be great if biab could give us more classical midi piano backing

Nice work Graham - a fantastic usage of the MIDI SuperTracks. Rayc pretty much nailed it; the tune is very textured. The tones are velvety, and the gradual build is beautiful. Very peaceful, and very calming to listen to.

You should be proud of this one - thanks for sharing smile

Thanks Deryk I AM proud of it. I've only gotten into classical music within the last 2-3 years. I find myself listening to more & more operatic music & symphonic music than anything else these days. Guess I'm getting older & more mature musically

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
