I never played in a band, I never had other musicians to jam with or try out ideas - most of this comes to life in BIAB. Also it gives me loads of practice and experience becoming better with my instruments.
My song writing would be nowhere near where I am at the moment without BIAB.

BIAB is a reliable set of bandmates that shows up on time, and to some extend play pretty much what you expect - only thing missing out on BIAB is the social part of drinking beer and acting silly while bonding and exchanging great ideas and plans that might come to life :-)

The best part of BIAB for me is the forum. The second best is to try to play along with the zillion different styles.

How to: Using Playable RealTracks in the Notation Window of Band-in-a-Box® 2022 for Windows

With the release of Band-in-a-Box 2022, we added Playable RealTracks! These allows you to add MIDI notes to the same RealTrack that is playing, either at the same time, or alternating back and forth. See how to use and edit these in the Notation Window with our video, Using Playable RealTracks in the Notation Window of Band-in-a-Box®
