Time Will Tell Time Will Tell on Soundcloud Time Will Tell on YouTube This is an original song about the loudness of Time, and our joy in ignoring it. Bill Davis (Zydecoal) played pedal steel and sang harmony, and Dave Bell (Blue Attitude) supplied the solo. I played bass and sang. Time Will Tell (But Who Will Listen)Once in awhile when I see a child smile everything seems fine. I can go on just singing this song as if no time flew by. Everything seems to be going my way. Everyone says that won't always stay. Some things go wrong to ruin my song. Is today gonna be that day? CH: Time will tell, but who will listen? I'll be busy loving you. In your spell there is no resistin', nor desire to, it' s true. Time will tell, with only whisper, and life will block out the sound. Time will tell, but who will listen? Starting the day in my usual way leaving my worries behind. Trouble be gone. I'm still singing this song despite the gloomy sky. All of my dreams tell me life is okay. I guess it can't always stay that way. Some things go wrong and ruin my song. Is today gonna be the day? CH BR: Listen to the birds as they sing to the wind. Listen to the wind sing back. Oh, take it all in and you'll widen your grin. It takes no special knack. Very nice indeed. I especially like the accordion, gives it a French flair.
https://soundcloud.com/user-646279677BiaB 2024 Windows For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Marty,
Clever title! A nice Jimmy-Buffett-ish-ness to it and the tune itself...
Sweet BASS! Love the way it sits so proudly in the mix!! Sounds great.
Bill does a nice job on steel.
Dave does his usual goodness with the solo.
Vocals are joyful! Harmonies sound good.
Excellent mix.
Catchy. Still stuck in my head...

Enjoying this now. GREAT title – you made that up, didn't you? Amazing it was still available to be thought up after all this time. Anyway, fun stuff, I did think I heard some tuning issues.

A great narrative Marty. Lovely vocal and melody too. The accordion made me wish the rhythm was just a little more Tex Mex Ry Cooder style BUT that's a "druther" and unnecessary as the song works perfectly as is.

Very nice indeed. I especially like the accordion, gives it a French flair. Thanks, Bass Thumper. I like that. I started out thinking Jimmy Buffett, then took him to the islands, and the accordion brings it all back to New Orleans. Marty,

fj Thanks, Floyd. You're one of the reasons I thought of Buffett at the start. You mentioned him once before in one of my songs. I also thought of you when that title came to mind. You're so good at catchy hooks. Thanks for the influence. Great song Marty! I really love the lyrics.
I beautiful job all around.
Thanks, David. I'm still freaking out at your awesome FAWN project. A song a day is crazy writing, yet you manage to make each one good and different.

Enjoying this now. GREAT title – you made that up, didn't you? Amazing it was still available to be thought up after all this time. Anyway, fun stuff, I did think I heard some tuning issues. Thanks, Mark. The title can be taken in a couple ways I suppose, but it at least makes you stop and say, "What..." I'm sure you mean tuning issues on the vocal. Yeah, I've never been known as a singer, and never will be. hehe Very good write Marty... Your singing was excellent... Great playing and mixing too... Well done. Thanks, bloc-head. Means a lot from you. Much appreciated. A great narrative Marty. Lovely vocal and melody too. The accordion made me wish the rhythm was just a little more Tex Mex Ry Cooder style BUT that's a "druther" and unnecessary as the song works perfectly as is. Thanks, Ray. I like the accordion too, but it was more of an after-thought that Bill had. I hear what you mean about Ry Cooder.

When three outstanding musicians get together you know that the song will be fantastic and this song proves that.
I really like this Jimmy Buffet style, great job on that.
Everything about this one is top shelf.
Loved it.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Trop rock. Nicely done. I enjoyed that. Trop rock. Strangely I never heard that before, Herb. Thanks. That fits. I never liked the strictness of genre. Superb recording. This is a really good song. Easy going, laid back, great message.

Great guitar, Dave.

Thanks, jptjptjpt (man, I'm getting much better typing your moniker.) That gold star came as they usually do. Someone said, "Time will tell," and I just blurted out "But who will listen." And right away said, that could be a good title. hehe Hi Marty, Dave and Bill,
Enjoyed this one very much. Very good vocals and harmonies and great pedal and solo! And we like the video.
Rob and Anne-Marie Thanks, and right back atcha, Rob and Anne-Marie. I'm really enjoying your YT channel. Top-notch.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
