In case you haven't figured it out...I write "faith-based" songs but occasionally one will come along and though "faith-based" it could be used in other contexts as well...a cross-over so to speak...I believe this to be one of them.

In 1995 I recorded an album with a band called Single Heart...this was a cut from that project...always liked the song and always hated the track so PtL BiaB came along and new track.

Well enough said...if you watch and listen...I appreciate your time and thoughts.

BiaB components:
3468 Bass
2650 Electric Guitar
1945 Acoustic Guitar
1814 Acoustic Guitar
1856 Cello
Real Drums Cajon Folk Slow 8ths

I added:
Lead vocal
BGV's: Gene Simmons. Caesar "Tata" Talili and me
An Electric Guitar from a Yamaha Tyros

Gosh Dan, that was such a good song. Great writing, very relatable. I like your voice anyway, but I think you did an especially good job on this song. Love the production. Great song.

Loved this one Dan! The visuals really bring the song up to a higher level! This "crossover" tune will surely speak to a lot of hearts! The vocals on this are phenomenal! Nobody in this forum does background harmony on the level you do!! It's such a sweet flowing tune that is so easy to listen to. The song asks the question that undoubtedly leads the listener to one conclusion as to who the One is that they need to turn to! Appreciate your work! T

Excellent ballad. Really beautiful melody and touching lyrics. The instruments really fit the mood, I especially liked the cajon. Haunting vocals, great backing vocals also.

Man, that must have been an amazing album by Single Heart if this one was nixed. Such a wonderfully (yes) faith-based song. Of course, your vocals are always top-notch with passion and feeling. I like the way the song builds with the voices. You added just the right touch of sound fx --loud enough to be a part of the production, but subdued enough to let the real magic shine through. Beautifully done, Dan.

Enjoy whatever happens!

This is quite beautiful. The vocals, melody, band and mix are all stellar.

The lyric video supports the song very well and represents that crossover aspect that you mentioned.
B&W was an effective choice indeed.

We’re glad you revived this song!

Janice and Bud...thanks for your thoughts especially concerning the video(you guys are masters at marrying video and audio) so I treasure your comments and I am so glad you enjoyed it...when I thought about remixing the song...I thought it would lend itself to a video presentation as well...I tried the color clips but it made it seem disjointed...B&W was perfect to coordinate the clips and give it the darkness that the song projects...thanks again for your comments...Dan

Hauntingly beautiful melody with a matching vocal.

Mix sound good here. A lush and rich sound, especially the BGV.

One of my favorites of yours.

Nicely done.

Your voice has a Raul Malo / Roy Orbison fast vibrato that fits this well.

Great song and a great message as well.

Everything was in it's place on this.
