Here Comes My Girl A little old pop song (that's been sitting on the Hard Drive for years) I was playing around adding a video to (youtube video only just over 2min). So essentially a video exercise but the song is a bit catchy (I think). Leon - Lyric and Vocal I added some guitar and keyboard. The Band - Lost in time but I think these midi tracks are included: Bass & Lead (88), Pad-Sweep (96),Echo Sweep (103). Other tracks Band in a Box except the guitar solos and the keyboard bit. Lyrics Pretty self explanatory (I don't have a copy to hand!).

Hi Peter and Leon,
Interesting concept. A different, modern, and catchy sound.
Looks like there's a little glitch around 0:04? Also, some of the drum brakes don't work out so well. You may want to keep the drums slightly more "static" here.
All in all well done. Excellent vocals, and as always cool lead guitar.

Very nice early 80's synth pop vibe, my favorite era, and positively reminds me of Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics. Strong rhythm and definitely catchy melody. Synths sound authentic and the guitar adds a modern touch. Lovely video supports the charming lyrics.

cool pop song. I like to browse my old work in progress folders from time to time but I haven't found any such gems yet. Good job.

Not sure if I completely get the song (I only understand parts of the lyrics), but that's a really catchy song, and the guitar is really cool. I like it!
And I think the video works very well for this song.

Definitely has an early Eurythmics feels. The guitar parts are ace. My 1st impression was that Leon's voice should be heavily processed to give it an 80s feel. Cool.

Peter,
Love the music mix . . . really cool 80’s sounds—great beat and vibe. From a production standpoint, I’m not sure the vocal fits in the mix ideally, and early on in the song it felt rushed on a couple of lines. Maybe just a little EQ’ing and playing with the effects might get it to sit better . . . dunno. And then again, listen to what others have to say . . . lord knows, it may be just fine as is. Cool tune!
Best regards,
Deej

Peter and Leon,
The video that came up surprised me because I have never seen any video productions from you before, but you guys did a great job with both the video and audio! It is a catchy tune. Enjoyed it!
Thanks, Torrey

Peter & Leon, this is a fun beat that makes me move. You guys surround yourself with a great band and then cap it off with that WOW solo. I'vewatched the video 3 times so far. It's good, yeah, but that song is the real draw. You are correct: It is VERY catchy.
EDIT: Oh, wait. That was not meant to infer the video wasn't good. It was really good and had a lot of hooks to it too. Where did you find the clips?

Nice melody, very catchy as you said. It's a different style of music than I play, so this may have been intentional, but there seemed to be some hiccups with the drums here and there and the lyrics seemed a little rushed in places. I wasn't expecting the wah guitar and it was a nice surprise. I think it sounded really good, for what it's worth.

Leon and Peter this is fantastic. Great 80's synth pop sound. Super vocal, guitar licks, and keyboard all mixed to perfection.
Two thumbs up

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
