For me, I have found a perfect marriage (not talking about my wife and I who just celebrated 51 years together last week) but BiaB and the Yamaha Genos...this union has allowed me to realize the dream of producing much better demos for the the music I have written over the last 45+ years...this is an another example...here's the low-down: Redeemed(G#m 90BPM) https://soundclick.com/r/s8mcjfThe intro: Acoustic guitar(Genos)..Bass and Drums(BiaB)(Bass 3584 and Real Drums NashPopBallad) First Verse and Chorus: Acoustic Guitars(Genos and BiaB 1761) Bass & drums(BiaB) Strings (Genos) Second Verse and Chorus: Added Electric Guitar(BiaB 1764) Interlude: Solo Rock Guitar(Genos) added Gritty Electric Guitar (BiaB 1689) Choruses: added Arpeggiated Strings (Genos) Outgo: back to intro instruments I added: vocals So...if you do...thanks for listening...I appreciate your time and thoughts...Dan

Another great song Dan. Your Genos plays a surprisingly realistic acoustic guitar.
If I were to offer a comment for improvement it would only be to add female vocals in the last chorus as a duet to really build the ending. But that's a matter of taste.
Great job.
https://soundcloud.com/user-646279677BiaB 2024 Windows For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

A friend of mine uses also a Genos...amazing workstation when properly used.
I like your song, and the arrangement and production sound really good.
For the guitar solo I'd personally prefer a cleaner guitar sound, but the sound works well for the rest of the song when it plays in the background, so I guess I would also most probably keep the solo as it is.

Fantastic production Dan. It sounds like a professional studio with all the expensive equipment and top notch players. I really liked the outro - and I agree that's a very realistic sounding acoustic. I think the song stands perfectly as it is, but I would be curious to hear it with your daughter on BGV's, particularly at the end. As always, a great write.

That Yamaha Genos sure is a powerhouse. I checked out a couple of Demo Videos of it on YouTube. It's quite amazing that the guitar intro is actually a keyboard! You've played it extremely well. Another very professional, highly effective composition with first-class vocals as we've now grown accustomed to ;-). One small nit about the mix. At several moments (mostly in the verses) you might want to set the vocal EQ slightly warmer and the volume slightly less hot? Rob

Dan,
A well-written song. Powerful vocals.
Very nice production. Well mixed.
Your "guitar work" on a keyboard is truly impressive.

Another fantastic Christian song. As I have said many times your professional tunes should be played on every Christian radio station. Great vocal and outstanding lyrics. Super mix. PS I see a second goal of yours is to put all of us guitarist out of work ![grin grin](/forums/images/graemlins/default/grin.gif) Excellent work on that guitar part! Loved it.

A standout for us is always your mixes. Pro sounding with a great soundstage. The technology regarding the Genos is far, far beyond us ole acoustic bluegrass players who explore our new genres via RT's and RD's ![smile smile](/forums/images/graemlins/default/smile.gif) (and of course with help of our music partner Peter). That said the result of the Genos tech is easy to understands as, well, it sounds most excellent. So good job on the uhhh guitar and strings! The aforementioned mix, along with your vocals and the build of the arrangement offer a really epic tune. Well done. J&B

Dan,
You are so right about using that Genos with BIAB! You are making some killer tracks using that beauty! I love the tune...the message of course...and the melody in the verses! That chorus is powerful! The use of harmony has been applied using a very intelligent approach and sung with precision! Love the solo in the middle!
Thanks, Torrey

firesong,
You always do such a great job on your arrangements—this is so crisp and well mixed. Impressive. And the vocal is stellar as always, with beautifully layered BGVs. Solid Christian Rock. Well done!
Best regards,
Deej

Hi Firesong,
Orchestration well thought out in relation to your lyrics and your voice. It's a very gripping composition. I appreciated.

Nice guitar for being done on a keyboard.
I like the song. The "lead guitar solo" is a bit too far down in the mix. No self respecting guitarist would play that low.... It's hard for me to comment on the quality of the guitar since it was hard to hear it clearly.
Nice overall job on the song.

As usual, Dan, I find your work not only inspired but also inspiring. A powerful message delivered with authority and authenticity. Great work on the Genos. Superb arrangement and vocal expression. I look forward to your next.

You might have a $6,000 synthesizer but your golden vocals are going to sound great on just about any production. Another great effort!

Hi Dan ...
Another top shelf write and production . Your vocals are always among the very best here. To be redundant to most of my past comments ... love the vibrato in your voice. The richness in your vocals is is pleasing.
Not familiar with Genos - will have to check it out.
Excellent!!! Loved the song.
