Hey guys...I'm ending the year with one of my favorites from my archives...it's the story from the book of Daniel of the three Hebrew children who were thrown into the fiery furnace for refusing to bow to a powerful king...2022 has been a great year for me in remastering my library with new BiaB tracks...I just ordered BiaB 2023 and I am excited to use it's new features and real tracks...so I'll end 2022 with an up-tempo positive song...hope you like it and if you do...thanks for listening...I hope 2023 is happy and prosperous for all of you... Dan (aka: Daniel, firesong)

I'm not that interested in the Bible, but anyone who can use the name Nebuchadnezzar in a song and make it sound good is really good, kudos smile
Nice up-beat feel, good arrangement and mix, and your vocals are very very good.
I enjoyed it a lot!

Another Christian music masterpiece!

You are the king of Christian music.

I loved everything about this one.

Have a safe and Happy New Year.

Dan,

Easy to see (hear) why this is one of your favorites.
Might be my favorite of all the things I've heard from you.
Everything about this is "done right".
Super groove. Excellent tracks. LOVE that drum sound!
Some of your best vocals (which are always good). Fire.
Terrific harmonies.
An Excellent write.
Sound like a cut from a Gatlin Bros. record (they should have cut this!)

Dan, this sounds great! Super groove. I especially liked the bridge. The vocals are top notch and the overall production, mix and editing are as good as it gets. Bravo, Tom

Nice job Dan. I know it would be lyrically challenging but to add that the furnace was 7 times hotter than usual and not a hair was singed would have been icing on the cake smile

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Wow - it's all there - a cracker track, very clever lyric, sparkling vocals, harmonies that really enhance the melody, and a very relevant message for today from a timeless book - you aced it with this one

Howdy....

I'm not at all religious but this is a good write on an interesting story.
Lots of creative imagery can be imagined with it.
The groove works right away with good vox tracks.

I'll gladly echo all previous comments.

Well done....carry on.

Firesong,

Very well done tune. Reminiscent for me of a song done by TSO (Trans Siberian Orchestra). Great production as your usual. Stellar vocal, impressive write. Good stuff!

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Weird story though:
While Daniel is out of town,
(which is odd for a fellow that was held prisoner, along with other Jewish notables,to ensure Jerusalem paid tribute as agreed),
Three men, presumably from the same group, are thrown into a burning pit for refusing to bow to the King's god's effigy.
They come out unscathed.
The King is converted to Judaism by the evidence of their faith.
He gives the fellows power and then
Announces that anyone who won't bow to his new god,
Will be torn limb from limb.
The trio aren't worried about the king's
trading of one deity for another,
but retaining death as coercion to ensure belief.
In that the story, sort of, mirrors the true story of Moher Theresa.

Luckily your song essays survival of the faithful, (a rarity in history and modern life), and avoids the awfulness.
I can imagine it being used in Sunday Schools.

Cool musical BIAB bed, well enhanced by your additions and a fabulous vocal.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
