Eric,
fun piece & good playing. I think sax parts are a bit too skinny, otherwise listens very well. Thank you for sharing.
Misha.

Eric...love the tone of your guitar...I think the sax sits very well in the mix...I would love to hear some interaction between the sax and the ax...nice piece of music with a stellar arrangement and production!

Mr. Tone! You are always a listening treat. Love those changes, and that impactful guitar sound fills them well. I'd bring up the sax a bit --actually I'd cut it out because through most of it I kept waiting for more guitar. smile I mean the sax is outstanding, but... I like Dan's idea of more interaction with guitar and sax. Still a very good write and production.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Eric, as usual outstanding tone, chops, and backing tracks.

Personally I think the sax needs to be more like the guitar, i.e. more growl, fewer notes, and more up front, but that is only me and others may not agree.

Regardless and excellent instrumental.

Great playing, as always!

My only nit - the sax sounds great and is a good contrast, but it could be a bit shorter. Because for me, it's just a palette cleanser that's filling time until the guitar comes back in. wink

But that's just me - keep on doing just what you're doing! laugh

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Hi Eric ...

First, my wife looked over my shoulder as I was listening to this. Her comment: "Who's the hunk in the avatar?".

As always, love your guitar work. And your distinctive tone is such a pleasant sound in my ears.

I do tend to agree with several of the previous comments about the sax. I would cut about 4 bars from it. And I would then bring it a little more forward in the mix. It's a great sax piece, but as David suggested, perhaps it's best used as a nice break from the guitar for a while - but I would make it a somewhat shorter while.

All that said, it's a great song and was a joy to listen to. Nice work!

Alan

I always love your guitar playing and your tone when you're noodling around.
Good stuff.

The sax solo works well, but as has been said, is a bit long. I would probably divide it into 2 sections, one solo from the sax and one from the piano.
