A Love Remembered

A love remembered! Was it the one that got away? Or the one you had to push away? Was it the one you were glad to get away from as they turned out to be a nut case? Maybe the one that passed away? You chose which one this song reminds you of if in fact it reminds you of anybody.

BiaB Style = Untended MIDI New Age Rock
Tempo = 80 PBM

I deleted the guitar and bass
Piano = ToonTrack-EXKeys2 - Dream Machine - preset - Vibra Vibes
Strings - Kontakt - CL Projects - Bronze Pads - preset - Farside of the Moon
Utility track - Syntronik 2 - preset - A Blowing Glass

I am playing my fretless bass, my Kramer Strat guitar, and via my wind controller the Swam Tenor Sax.

As always all comments are welcomed.

As usual, a professionally produced song.
A pleasant vibe and great sax.
Nicely done.

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Mario, love the modulations! Just a really pretty song and interesting arrangement. Your "sax" sounds great! Same for your bass and strat. Thanks for sharing!

Something on the left is sharing freqs with the bass and gives a slight impression, in head phones, that the bass smears left occasionally.
Great to hear your guitar again.
Nice one.

Good mix.

A very distinct nostalgic quality. The love that was realized, but both parted their separate ways mutually.

Your guitar has that early 60s sound. Love it. Nice counter with the sax. Magical piece.

Thanx so much. That guitar is an old Kramer Focus 111S That I bought new a number of years ago for $69 USD. It is based on those early strats. You have a very good ear!

Man, that is an excellent vibe.

Kind of a soulful/bluesy new age feel.

And per usual it's topped off by your standout multi instrumental performances.
Great arrangement and mix with a nice "pop" to the drums.

A fine production!

Really nice piece of work Mario!

By the way, I just stumbled across one I may have missed while I was away, called Inner Sanctum.

LOVED that. Totally Zappa.

Thanx David. That Zappa comment was extremely kind and I am humbled by it.
PS - I do have a few Zappa records. Joe's Garage is really funny-----and true!

Hmmm... I had one that got away, but later I was rather glad she did. Whew! Never had any I had to push away --I'm a bass player, ya know. Already mentioned the one who made me happy by being gone. Never had one pass away. I never think of any of them, so I'll just remember old times with the one I got. Gee, after all that heavy typing, I have to go back and actually listen this time to what you created. At this point I can tell you the tune is great background music for typing.

Dream machines and Vibra Vibes. Hey, there's that guitar I enjoy. So tasteful, so thoughtful, so good. Here's a comment I cut 'n' paste everywhere: Turn up the bass!

Always a treat, Mario.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Background typing music, I wonder if there is a market for that?
I'm with you as I don't think about my past "loves" as I am very happy with the one love I have now!

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
