I have recently upgraded my computer and have run into problems reinstalling BIAB. I originally purchased 2022, bought some expansion packs, and then upgraded to 2023. After reinstalling 2023, I tried to run BIAB but no sound and I was getting errors. I contacted Support and was told I needed to install 2022 first, then 2023 on top of that. Makes sense. So I did that and also installed the add-on packs I previously purchased. But I'm still getting error messages and no sound. What's up?
You haven't said which package/bundle you have and that's quite important to know.
Pro, MegaPAK, UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile or OmniPAK.
Do you have your RealTracks installed in C:\bb\RealTracks as the yellow pop-ups show, or could you have installed them in another location? If you do, are those files there? Often this problem arises because someone has bought expansion packs that don't match with the bundle they have, though one would have expected PGM to already have checked that.
Edit: BTW, there's an option on the Help menue "What Add-Ons do I have?" that may help with clues.

Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful. Kawai MP6, Korg M50, Ui24R, Saffire Pro 40. AVL:MXE Linux; Windows 11; Win8.1: Scarletts BIAB2022 UltraPAK, Reaper, a bunch of stuff.
Edit: This is wrong in this case, I misread the screenshot!
Hmm, yes, that explains it and this is something that causes confusion. You'll want a chat with PGM.
You have the Pro bundle, but you require the UltraPAK or better version for the Xtra Styles. It does say that on the relevant page, but despite the highlighting people often miss it. https://www.pgmusic.com/xtrastyles.php?os=win
Your best option is probably to use PGM's chat and explain the situation and see if either they'll swap the packs you have for similar Xpro styles, or you could upgrade to an UltaPAK or higher. I will add that you do get a huge amount of content on the UlraPAK and the expense is usually worth it, but it hurts when you find this out as you have. PGM do try hard to resolve things and their chat service is excellent ... no robots. Real, knowledgable people.

BIAB can be such a pain in the [*****]. So why was it working previously, but not on the current reinstall?
Oh ... hang on ... I've misread that screenshot. You did an UltraPAK upgrade in 2022, so the PlusPAK should be fine. I think something must have gone awry with your 2023 upgrade, which I think should be a PlusPAK, not a Pro.
Same approach, though, explain via chat.

Piano, Acoustic, Rhythm JazzWaltzKenny Sw 140 is from RT set 223, which is indeed part of the 2022 UltraPAK. From what you say, and from your screenshot of the Products listed in the Install Manager, it sounds like you reinstalled the full 2022 UltraPAK.
The flash messages you posted say that it can't find the Piano, Acoustic, Rhythm JazzWaltzKenny Sw 140 folder, so it sounds to me like it IS installed (the .ST2 is in the bb folder), but it might be looking in the wrong RealTracks folder.
Run any of the downloaded installers or the install manager itself and just take a look at the install location - it will remember where your most recently selected RealTracks install location is. If it is the same as the Band-in-a-Box folder location (e.g. if they are both C:\bb), you won't need to set a custom folder location in Band-in-a-Box. Once you've looked at that, run Band-in-a-Box, open the StylePicker and do a rebuild (fast). In the dialog that appears, confirm that RealTracks (and Drums) locations are what you expect them to be. Let us know what you find.
and from your screenshot of the Products listed in the Install Manager...
Would it be normal for the screenshot to list a "Pro Upgrade" like that for an UltraPAK version? That's what confused me about what system he had installed. I failed to notice that the 2022 was an UltraPAK Upgrade and just believed the "Pro Upgrade" bit.

No, nothing unusual there. You can purchase an UltraPAK one year and Pro the next. You still retain all your RealTracks from the previous Ultra, you just won't be adding all the new ones like you would with a PlusPAK or UltraPAK upgrade. You also wouldn't be eligible for the PlusPAK upgrade this year.

OK, well I just learned something and made myself a little embarrassed. That's life.
My apologies both to LeesKeys and to PGM for getting my understanding wrong.

Problem solved. After a chat with Support, I discovered that in Install Manager, I needed to uncheck the box for "Only install files new in 2022 (i.e. upgrade from 2021 UltraPAK)". By having this box checked BIAB Install was set to NOT look for real track files from 2021. At least that's how I understood it. Thankful for Support because I wouldn't have noticed it, much less understood what it meant.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows® Today!
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows for free with build 1111!
With this update, there's more control when saving images from the Print Preview window, we've added defaults to the MultiPicker for sorting and font size, updated printing options, updated RealTracks and other content, and addressed user-reported issues with the StylePicker, MIDI Soloists, key signature changes, and more!
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
