After multi-year absence from music, I re-gained an interest a couple months ago. I have BIAB 2015, along with the Real Tracks/Drums from the 2013 UltraPlus Pak. I missed the upgrade sale at the end of 2022, so will wait until the end of this year to upgrade to 2024 UltraPak. I mention this to explain why I am still using an old version of BIAB.
I am having a problem with the 2015 version. I imported an audio file of a flute solo into a existing SGU project. It resulted in an audio track being added in the mixer window, as expected. However, the audio file I imported turned out to not be a good match for the project, so I want to delete it and try a different one.
In the mixer window, there is a small down-arrow on the lower right side for each track. I clicked on it for the audio track and was glad to see one of the menu items is "erase track". Unfortunately, clicking on it doesn't do anything. The audio remains. I can mute it of course, but would prefer to delete/erase it so I can import a different audio file.
Is this something that didn't work in BIAB 2015 and has since been fixed? Or am I doing something wrong?

Delete the audio file that bears the name of your song where you save, and it will erase your audio track.

Hi dalemccl,
MoultiPass's method will work provided you know where you saved the song file. The audio file will be called songname.wav where "songname" is the name of the songfile.
Another approach is to go to the "Audio" menu at the top of the screen.Select "Edit Audio" and the select "Kill entire audio". You will need to save your song after doing this so that the audio is permanently deleted.

Thanks Moultipass and Noel96. I used Noel's method for "Kill entire audio "and it worked fine. This gets me past a point where I was stuck with this song.
