I've noticed my midi patch changes do not work when there are some Real Tracks loaded in BB? 1/2 RT 1/2 midi etc . .
They DO work when the style is all midi.
Yamaha Tyros & AudioGram 6 with latest BB build.
Don't know if it is a bug?

Have to test it here to see if it still works.
Are these Patch Changes the kind that you changed at the beginning of the song and remain that way all through, or are they Bar Settings invoked, as in changing instrument patch halfway through a song?

The normal midi patches. Ex: It won't allow me to change Finger Bass to Fretless etc . . . . the ones in the style itself. I think the RT's send midi commands?
An all midi style works, along with upper banks etc . . .

But maybe I would need to know what style file you are seeing in the Style Window at the time?

Hi Trax,
I found that if you have the RT's "frozen" it sometimes plays these tricks on the Midi side if you try to make alterations anywhere
Don't know if your problem songs are frozen - if they are, "unfreeze" them - make the Midi changes and regenerate - then "freeze"

How about none of them. The midi style patch loads fine, but if I wanted to select a Finger Bass instead of Fretless, it will not make the change. Same for A piano vs E Piano etc.
If the style/song does not contain ANY RT, the patches and upper bank changes work fine.;)

I saw the other post about changing a file in RB named Asst something. Well, I just opened Biab and the patch changes are working with the RT's. I don't know if changing that file helped, uploading the latest RB build, or if it was something else in my set up? My set up has not changed though.
The patch changes ARE working here now.

I am experiencing a similar problem. Once I add in a second style for my song, the higher bank patches aren't executed. I can see the Bank0 value on that patch is correct, but bb plays the GM patch instead. If I do a quick Bank0 up then down (with the arrow buttons) to the original value, the correct patch starts playing. I can also define the correct patch using F5 (bar settings) every time the style changes, so I am not dead in the water, but I doubt that multistyles were intended to function in this way.
I'm using the Ketron SD2 and the associated .pat file. Is this happening with anyone else?
