The Melodist can be picked from a floating window with many new filters. The Melodist can generate a melody on any track, not just the Melody track, for the whole track or a specified region. Audio demos are available for each of the 209 Melodists in different genres. Is there more information about this? Why are 209 melodists reported here? I only know 28 melodists. For me it is misleading to name the melodist presets as melodists. I also have 7 empty presets between 128 and 209 in BiaB 2023/1013.

‘Yes, this is done from the. Melodist panel of the multipicker. There is a checkbox right under the track selector to x use Melody track for Melodist . If unchecked it uses whatever track is set in the track selector.

1-The Melodist can be picked from a floating window with many new filters.
So there are no filters for the melodist here?
2-The Melodist can generate a melody on any track, not just the Melody track, for the whole track or a specified region.
So a checkbox was added next to the track selection? A screenshot would be helpful, unless the picture from audiotrak is the melodist from the 2024 BiaB. Then I can't see any checkbox.
3-Audio demos are available for each of the 209 Melodists in different genres. Can I listen to the auto demos somewhere?
4-Why are 209 melodists reported here? I only know 28 melodists. For me it is misleading to name the melodist presets as melodists. I also have 7 empty presets between 128 and 209 in BiaB 2023/1013.
Has this changed in BiaB 2024?

MoultiPass, a good result! I noticed your signature still states 2023, but it's clear that you are now using 2024. Maybe time to update it?

1-The Melodist can be picked from a floating window with many new filters.
So there are no filters for the melodist here?
PG: Not following what this question is. The changes to the melodist is that it’s 1. added to the multipicker, so available as a floating window 2. Can be generated on any track (using the multipicker)l 3. Has audio demos for each Melodist (click on the demo button in the multipicker).
Pg: yes, click in the demo button in the multipicker, using the melodic tab. The demos are online, and there is a predictable url for them that only differs for melodist #
4-Why are 209 melodists reported here? I only know 28 melodists. For me it is misleading to name the melodist presets as melodists. I also have 7 empty presets between 128 and 209 in BiaB 2023/1013.
There is no change in # of melodists. It is 209 melodists, as they different in things like tempo/style/features/ harmonies etc. if you ignore all that, and just look at the underlying genre, then there are 28.
Has this changed in BiaB 2024?
PG: no.

Thanks Peter Gannon, will there be a detailed BiaB 2024 video with a little more information about the melodist? It is particularly interesting for me to get more background information about configuring the melodists. Is it now possible to put the melodist's harmony voice on a separate track? What role does the style, harmony, and instrument that can be associated with the melodist play in terms of the melodist's playing style? For me personally, this is the most interesting feature in BiaB. (even before the RT's)!!!! Unfortunately, since 2022 to date I have only come up with 1457 song ideas with the melodist - it could have been 10 times as many. In BiaB 2022/23 I have problems understanding how the melodist's partial regeneration works. e.g.: 1st regeneration same phrase just played a little softer. 2nd regeneration same phrase played more powerfully. 3rd regeneration rhythm of the frase is veined. from the 4th regeneration the melody of the phrase is changed. DOING it is NOT my problem, it's understanding the algorithm with which BiaB selects the next regeneration. The program is unlikely to decide by chance. Unfortunately I couldn't clarify that. Please make a video about the melodist that really covers all the functions. https://www.pgmusic.com/addons.melodists.php?os=win Unfortunately there are no audio demos here is there a diffrent source?

PG: Not following what this question is. Oh well. It's one of the 50 innovations here https://www.pgmusic.com/bbwin.new.htm#featurelistbe advertised! and my question is: what filters are there?
