Wanted to see if anyone out there Is having problems w/Jukebox. Mine was working fine until a few days ago. It now plays the 1st and 2nd tunes and crashes on the 3rd. Called a tech who really didn't have any answer. He said no one else has called with a similar problem. Can't believe i'm the only one tho. Tried using different tunes and the same thing happens. I have version 2010 and the latest 295 patch.

Whenever BiaB stops doing something that it is supposed to do, the first thing I try is shutting down all programs gracefully and rebooting the computer.
If the problem still persists, the next thing I try is to open BB and under the Options menu, Return to Factory Settings. That usually gets it going again.

I did try the reboot but i'll do the Return to Factory Settings thing and see if that works. thanks!

Find the 3rd song.
Band in a box closed.
Click on the song.
It should open the program and start playing. If it doesn't work suspect something in the song.

John makes a good point. If you have the Jukebox set to play *in order* and not random play, then it might just be a corrupted songfile that comes up at the same place every time.

Don't think that's the problem as i've used different songs in the 3rd position and Biab still crashes. thanks.

I stopped using jukebox because of freeze ups. Sometimes it will play 5-7 songs before it happens. I have all the updates (295) and have reverted back to factory settings. No luck. Marty

I also tried returning to factory settings with no luck. Does anyone who uses biab for playing live have any alternatives to Jukebox???
I sure love this program except for its instability.

Is there a Jukebox feature in RealBand that can be used? i know nothing about it. thanks.

If you have a folder of songs that causes this problem, please let us know. Ideally it would be one of our folders, like c:\bb\styles65 or something, If not, please email the folder of songs to us at beta@pgmusic.comIt could be a certain song that is causing the problem.

I don't believe a corrupted song file is responsible as i've tried several different songs in the 3rd position (first 2 songs play w/o a problem-biab crashes right before the 3rd song begins.) I've also tried to separate folders and the 3rd song crashes in each folder no matter what song i place in that position. Oddly, i clicked the preview option and let each song play for 4 bars and didn't have a problem. are you asking that i attach the entire folder of songs? thanks.

Jukebox stops whenever you reset any of the instruments or instrument settings during a performance. Could that be happening?
