This is my first tune in BB 2025 titled "Brief Encounter". My Band in a Box Style: Memo: This laid-back lounge funk style features two atmospheric electric guitars. I mixed the song in Reaper through my hybrid setup. I hope I achieved somewhat of an analog feel. Good one, John. Great use of BiaB. Good feel. This is definitely a lounge I would frequent. Yeah, you did an incredible job crafting those solos and I really dig the arrangement you made for them. At first the bassist seemed like he thought he was the only one on the stage, but he settled down nicely when he seemed to get into what the others were doing. Man, you picked some of the best players.

John, nice, laid back jazz jam. Cool band, nicely mixed. Like the (uncredited?) guitar solo a lot. Very enjoyable listen!

Nice groovy jazz instrumental, but although I try to avoid leaving comments based on individual taste, I feel that a track of this length and style should have a lot more variation in the solos. IE: for me, the sax solo is way too long, then when the guitar, which is excellent, comes in it's too brief. I'd at least have had either a piano or an organ solo in there somewhere too, though that is just personal taste.
Some favourite Waoist Adages: #1: Play on the Way. #13: Ask not for whom the flower blooms, it blooms for you. #58: Bring consciousness to it. #63: On the road to effortlessness, effort must be made. #92: Be Love Now, the rest will come on its own.

Hi John,
Welcome to the forum!
I'm a big Jazz fan, although I played country music most of my 50+ active years. But my musical likes are varied.
love this! I can listen to this kind of stuff for an entire evening. And this one would be a standout.
As Marty mentioned the bass line is a little "heavy" for a few bars, but then blends nicely. But, it's a great bass line, though!
I enjoyed my visit very much.
Wishing you the best in 20025. Hope to hear more from you.
Alan
