Why do PG programers break things that worked in previous BIAB programs? I changed my Preferences/Notation/Transpose section to GUITAR at +12 semitones, which you should if you wants your notes in a guitar melody line. Well, that didn't make the AI of BIAB 2010 happy and so everytime I start BIAB 2010 up I repeatly get this annoying message in a green box saying my transpose section is not correct.huh? What? I play guitar and not piano which is an octave higher. There is no way to make this popup go away unless you constantly click on it everytime you start your BIAB 2010 program. GET THE BUGS OUT PG MUSIC!

Another attack post, so soon?
The notice about having a transposition in effect was a user request from the Wishlist. I was one of the requesters, and I'm grateful that PG Music listened. Since you registered in 2008, you must have missed the announcement of that feature. The purpose was to inform you that a transposition was in effect when you load a song. When those of us who play transposing instruments change the transposition in a song, and save it, we did not know when it was reloaded that the song was in the transposed key.
It is a feature, not a bug.
However - I see your point: In the case of an octave transposition, perhaps the warning is not important. Or, have an option to switch it off.
May I suggest you respectfully post in the Wishlist to make a modification to that effect?

rd151,
I think your problems must be due to you not installing BiaB overtop of the previous version, which will preserve your User Settings.
Thus you are starting over "from factory default settings".
Tell me what way you are running BB2010 -- from USB drive or installed to C: and there may still be a way to bring back all your old user settings without having to revisit all those Preferences and such, provided that you did not delete the old version in entirety, which is the only record of those settings.
