When I open up biab I get the message" Too many title entries limit is 1800" Dont know what it means but the program seems to work okay....Ideas ???

Hi Jeff,
What *version* of BiaB are you running, with update?
What OS are you running also?
To find out the version and update, go to Help -> About and it will report that info to you.

also build (292) Im assuming that is the update...Also it says that the platform is NT. Im running xp home.

If you are running build 292, you need to upgrade to BIAB 2010 Build 295. Don't know if that will solve the problem, but build 295 is the latest build. Windows XP is based on Windows NT, and that's what it reports to the query from BIAB and is why you see it that way.

You should download and update to the latest version, it will likely solve many if not all of those problems.

Downloaded and installed build 295. Still the same message. " Too many title entries limit is 1800"....doesn't seem to have any effect on the performance of the software. Just slows down opening up biab.

I figured it out. I have too many biab songs...Gotta keep it under 1800...Thanks for the help:)

That message has nothing to do with songs. It is related to the Auto-Song-Title feature. Likely you have edited titl1.txt , or made files like titl2.txt.
There is a limit of 1,800 there.
The song limit is 25,000.
