A different way of describing the circle of fifths. I found the terminology very interesting and a refresher course for me. I have a propensity of using things and forgetting the correct terminology  A very interesting video. Thanx for sharing.

I liked the way he included inversions, different root notes, minor keys and more. Yes, he added a lot of color.

Yes, as Mario said, just work backwards from the chord at the end, employing the Circle of Fifths, and considering the flavor of each chord (major or minor plus extensions.

As a writer that likes to stray outside of the diatonic, this gives me a couple more tools for my kit. Good find!
I might dabble with secondary mediants (iii), sub-mediants (vi) and supertonics (ii) to see if something special pops out in those, although might get a bit random?

As a writer that likes to stray outside of the diatonic, this gives me a couple more tools for my kit. If you don't already know it, you might also explore "tritone substitution".
