Windows XP, Realband Build 4
I opened a BIAB MGU file in RB. Imagine my surprise when the BIAB midi tracks came in and, on a separate RB track, so did a previously created WAV file!
Is this a feature or a bug? -Mel

Generally the audio track will only be imported with the BIAB MGU file, if you have saved an audio track somewhere along the way with that MGU file. Take a look in your BIAB folder where you keep your MGU files and see if you have a wave file of the same name as the MGU file. Also if you had tried to use an RT in the MGU file and then had saved the MGU, the RT would show up as well.
Cheers - Ian

Oh, I understand that. Yes, I had previously created a WAV file from the MGU. What I don't understand is why RB imported it without -- um -- instruction.

If the base name of the file is the same as the MGU file, then BIAB considers it to be the audio track for the MGU file. I suspect RB did the same thing, which was why it came along. If you don't want it, just delete the track and it's gone.

Any .wav file in the same folder as the bb song having the same exact filename will automatically load as part of that BB song. This is because of how the BB single Audio Track functions. It looks for that .wav file of the same name string and, if present, loads it as part of the song.
mysong.mgu
mysong.wav
Both in the same folder, then both load with the BB song.
