I'm running Windows XP. As part of disk reorganization, I moved the RealDrums and RealTracks folders to another volume. I told BIAB about the new locations in its options, and it finds them just fine.
However, every time I install an update, the update still thinks that RealDrums and RealTracks are in their old locations. I tell it the right locations, but it doesn't remember them.
Is there a registry key somewhere that stores this information? I'm tired of having to remember to override the defaults.

I don't know of any way to change that, I think that the default of C BB is stored in the updater .exe that we download.
However, I noticed that with the installation of update 297, ONE of the three slots, the RealDrums slot, still had the L BB location from a previous update to USB drive, so ? ?
Good question.

There is no Registry entry for that (or anything else for BB).
BB stores its settings in preferences files. Intrface.bbw is the main one. You can save/load them from the Options menu. So you can save one called "Prefs with my Real Drums on my G drive", and then load that in when needed.
Updates dont mess with the preferences files, so you shouldn't lose those settings between updates.
Let me know if others are losing preferences between updates, as we would look into that.
