I've run into another little anomaly: I have a song using only realbass acoustic bossa 140, and realdrums Bossabrushes. When I set the default volume of "90" to "127" on the realtracks (and the "combo" volume as well), it will play louder while the song is playing. But if I stop the song, and then click on "play", the volume goes right back to "90", even if I save it.
I have BIAB 2010 with the latest update (297).

Once you've made the volume changes, have you tried "File >> Save Song With Patches & Harmony"? This might make a difference.

My other songs work just fine with a normal "save", like hitting the F2 key.

Noel96, I tried saving with patches and harmony and get the same results.

Check to see that the Style in use may be loading its own Volume assignments.
If not that, could just be a corrupted songfile....

Some realtracks (realdrums) will do this also (assign their own volume) Just a heads up..
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

If you don't want this to keep happening, you can change the default from the Edit Style button (top hat)/Misc button, and uncheck the 'allow volume changes with style' box. Also available is the Prefs/Midi Options/Style Volume Changes checkbox. Don't know if that works for RTs as well, but that should eliminate volume changes with styles for all songs at least with midi.
