Install reported to be successful but on opening the executable in admin mode, the following popup box appears:
"Ticket Initialization Failed. Specified Ticket File Does Not Exist."
The BiaB app opens but the GUI is incomplete (no transport buttons, for example). Status is listed as "0 days of trial remaining". Upon running the online activation, the following popup box appears:
"Activation failed for an unknown reason. The error number is -2. Contact PG Music."
Did a web search but couldn't find a solution.
Will contact PG when they open. But in the meantime...any ideas?

Hi Ron.
I've reported your issue directly to the development team.
Just to double-check... When you say "the executible", I'm guessing that you mean BBW64.EXE that's found in the \bb\ folder. There are many exe files in \bb\.
Also, have you tried opening bbw64.exe normally and not in administrator mode. It's been many years since I've had to start BIAB using admin mode.
You could try doing a hard reset of BIAB. To do this, close the program and rename intrface.bbw to intrface.bbw.old and MySetup.DK to MySetup.DK.old. These two files are found in \bb\Preferences. By renaming these files, it forces BIAB to re-create new versions of the files when the program is started. This might help.

[b][/b]Noel, yes, that was the executable. Ran it both with and without admin rights with identical results. This was the same executable file the installer placed on my desktop as an icon.
Have noticed that my c:\bb directory has *.ticket files for BiaB 2024 and 2025 but not for 2026. So it appears BiaB is indeed looking for a ticket that doesn't exist.
I did install the 2026 files to c:/bb, though the RealTracks are on a separate drive. There is not a 2026 ticket file on the remote drive either.

I reinstalled the "Full" 2026 BiaB/RB from the installer and the issue went away. There is now a bb2026 ticket file in my c:\bb directory. BiaB 2026 is open and fully activated now. Will mark resolved. THANKS again, Noel!
