Hi, I've just bought the new 2026 version and installed around 190GB on an external drive without any error. I have a macbook pro M3. When I load a song an play generate, then I hear the instruments and I also see the chords, but when I click on Notation then the window is blank. I select the instruments from the mixer but there's no any notation for any of them. I get the same blank window whatever song I load.
I have this same problem. Just upgraded from 2025 last night: no notation or lead sheet. The other windows (tracks, chords, etc. all work fine). I think the issue is to do with multiple displays. @dimtass do you have multiple displays?
I tried Ctrl+Click and discovered that these DO open in new windows - on my laptop monitor, when the main program window is on my extended external monitor. So, I unplugged the monitor and now my notation windows display in the main UI. Also, If I change the external monitor from "extended" to "main" in the Mac settings, then I see what I expect - notation/lead sheet in the main UI. With this working, I switched back to the way I want, with the laptop screen as main and external monitor as extended. The notation window persisted, BUT when I closed and reopened it (Shift+Click) it did not display again.
Another data point for your troubleshooting: When I go to mission control, it shows that the notation window is somehow active, but is not visible otherwise (see large screenshot). And, I get a warning when opening the lead sheet/notation - not intentionally in a separate/floating window, just clicking on it, that the display has been moved to a different monitor (see small screenshot). Thanks in advance for investigating this.

Hi all. Yes, I'm using an extended monitor on my macbook and it's only the `Notation` and `Lead Sheet` tabs that are affected. @linsayward you're right, the ctrl+click works and the sheet is opening on the main screen and I can view the sheet and then move it to the main screen.
I guess it's a glitch and hopefully will get resolved soon.
Also, If I change the external monitor from "extended" to "main" in the Mac settings, then I see what I expect - notation/lead sheet in the main UI. With this working, I switched back to the way I want, with the laptop screen as main and external monitor as extended.
To confirm, you have your laptop monitor as your main monitor, and you see the 'embedded' (not floating) notation window on your extended stand-alone monitor, when you single left click on the Notation button in the side toolbar? Is this correct? Edit: Do you have your displays arranged vertically with the primary on the bottom? Which mac do you have and what is the macOS version?

MacBook Pro 16", Apple M1 Pro, MacOS Tahoe 26.4.1 When the external monitor (Dell U2715H) is set to "main", everything seems OK. When the laptop screen is the "main" and external is extended, I get the problems. This also includes something I just tried: I can't have the notation window on my laptop with the default BIAB UI on the external. With the external monitor as main, I can have the windows on both screens. Again, this is only for notation or lead sheet. I CAN still have something like piano roll on the extra screen. Yes, I have the displays arranged vertically with laptop on the bottom. I just tried it with the screens arranged left-to-right and... interestingly... I can't have a floating separate notation window on one and the UI on the other, but I CAN show the notation window in the main UI (attached not floating) just fine. And one more test, if I arrange the external monitor below the laptop screen (opposite of physical position), this works the same - OK. Not exhaustive testing, but it seems it's only when the laptop is main and arranged below the external extended monitor. Let me know how you go
