Band in a box 2026 for windows.
After it's release. I purchased the upgrade. I took time to learn about the new features and getting to know the UI,
But when I started to create my songs. I could never complete them. due to a whole load of error massages and one very annoying message saying you exceeded your limit. I've only get as far as 4 tracts and 6 to 16 bars long.
When that appears I can no longer work with that song. Even after saving it and reloading it I can not continue with it. I've been round and around and over and over again with customer support. and the problem still not solved.
Today I been sat at my computer since 12.00 pm to 9.40 pm Malta time. waiting for an email to invite me to Team Viewer. That never came.
Are there any others out there who had similar problem/issues and have how have you resolved them.
Just to let you know after the downloaded version gave me problems I ordered the Hard drive version. That also gave me the same issued. That led me to have my computer checked for viruses, Bugs whatever. it came back to me with no issue and clean.
If any one can help me I will be grateful. at the moment I feel let down.

Sorry to her about your problems Ajag. In order to help you we would need more information. Things about your computer like what is the OS, Win 7,8,10 etc or Mac? What is your CPU speed? How much RAM and HD space do your have. Giving us as much computer information as you can will help a lot.
Also can upload a problem song or two? Upload them to a free site like Drobox then post the URL. That way we can look at the song(s) and maybe it will help us solve your problem.
Life is short so make sure you spend as much time as possible on the Internet arguing with strangers.

Not sure why you think this company does TeamViewer. Not to my knowledge.
I see you registered on the forum 5 years ago. Have you used BIAB before?
When you said:

Did you register the software?
There should not be any significant difference between downloaded & hard drive versions, except for installation process and I believe HD version allows you to run RealTracks/Real Drums from external hard drive as an option.
Having said that, I would check three things in this order:
1) Did you register Band in a Box?
2) Did you configure your audio hardware correctly?
3) If you open any Demo song, does it play OK?

An error message about exceeding limits in Band-in-a-Box (BIAB) usually happens for two reasons:
1. "Too Many Bars / Exceeding Bar Limits"Band-in-a-Box has a strict maximum limit of 256 bars. If you are working with multiple choruses, ensure your total bar count does not exceed this limit.The Fix: Reduce the number of choruses or shorten your song structure to fit within the 256-bar maximum limit.
2. "Audio Generation / Memory Capacity Limits"BIAB relies on large RealTracks and RealDrums data sets. If your system runs out of physical memory (RAM) or disk space while rendering, it will throw an error and stop processing.The Fix: Close other resource-heavy applications, check that your hard drive has sufficient free storage space, or try rendering the song one track at a time instead of doing a full mixdown all at once.

I believe that where there are multiple choruses defined in the choruses box, that the bars limit over the repeats limit is significantly higher; IIRC 2048?
Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful.

Ajag,
Sorry to hear about your problems,
1 Do you let the computer run all the time, or you restart more or less every day, sometimes a restart can cure a lot of problems.
2 Are all of your other software running ok..
3 Try and disable your Antivirus software to see how that goes, as sometimes Antivirus can play havoc with legitimate software. If this does help, then create an exception in your Antivirus software to exclude the BB folder on your drive.
4 Just reinstall the main band in a box program, not everything such as realtracks and other addons, that should only take you a few minutes to do.
5 Are you having any glitches with other software or with Windows itself, as sometimes an internal hard drive on its way out, can cause problems as well.
Hope you get it sorted asap, and let us know if you do.

it sometimes irks me that some users ask for help and are answered by experienced users only for the OP not to be heard from again.
its difficult to help people without being given cogent info on their settings and set ups.
imho its not nice to treat people like this who donate their free time to help.
at least a thankyou would be nice sometimes...sigh.
