this might be a stupid question... but, why is it when I choose a style in the style picker, the real tracks don't change? For example, I open up my tune, but I don't like the style, so I click on Style, choose something with real tracks in it, then click OK. HOWEVER, my real tracks stay the same! They don't change. What am I missing?
Oh and I'm on a mac. I hit the reset to factory defaults, but still no dice.
Help?

Typically if you change to a real style with different instruments than what you start with, the new real style instruments displace the originals. I am guessing you may be selecting a midi style to change to and usually midi tracks "defer" to realtracks. What is the name of the style you started with, and what are you changing to?

OK, I think I know how I messed it up. So, I choose my realtracks manually. Example: Style is MCCOY2.STY, but I manually chose my realtracks: Bass 443, Piano is 446 and Drums are Terryclarke^02brushes. So, the realtracks I picked don't match that style, because I picked them out by hand. SOOOO... now I click Style and choose _SJAZZPP.STY and the tracks do NOT change.
Did I just answer my own question?

I'm pretty new to the software, butI've noticed the same thing.
The tracks that I've added after selecting the style don't seem to change if a new style is selected.
I've also had some other hinky things happen after changing real track styles such as two audio tracks on one instrument track.

Yeah, this might be a bug. So, it looks like, if you choose your realtracks manually, the next time you go to choose a style that uses real tracks, your real tracks will NOT change, yeah?

So, I can get it to work if I clear any manually selected realtracks first. What I do is I go into the realtracks picker, and click on "none" or clear all, to get rid of the real tracks I've put in there by hand. THEN, when I go to the style screen and pick my new style, it works fine.
