Hola, me gustaría saber si es posible tener varios instrumentos VSTi/DXi al mismo tiempo cargados en BIAB 2010. Cuando abro la venta de configuración VSTi/DXi encuentro allí cuatro slots o espacios, pero solo el primero me deja cargar un instrumento virtual, el resto solo lista efectos y plugins normales. Es así el programa o estoy haciendo algo mal? . Yo lo que quiero es cargar mis instrumentos virtuales y sampler favoritos como Trilogy, Akoustik Piano, Atmosphere, Fm7, B4, EZDrummer, etc. El Edirol VSC hace su trabajo, pero es un poco deficiente en calidad de audio. He escuchado de algunos "racks virtuales" que permiten cargar varios instrumentos VST y DXi a mismo tiempo, pero no se cuales son ni como trabajan o si son compatibles con Band in a Box. Alguién tiene alguna pista acerca de esto? cualquier consejo estaré muy agradecida, gracias!

Con BIAB sólo es posible utilizar un instrumento VST/DXi tipo Edirol VSC / TTS-1, Hypercanvas, etc... Para asignar pistas diferentes a diversos instrumentos virtuales tienes que usar Realband.

Hola Gina!! gusto en saludarte, me imagino que ya habrás visto mi respuesta en el foro de habla inglesa donde también publicaste la pregunta. Band in a Box solo permite un solo instrumento VSTi/DXi el cual puede ser un plugin multi-tímbrico como Edirol VCS, HyperCanvas, Coyote, TSS-1 o inclusive un sampler mas avanzado como Kontakt, pero el programa por si solo permite un solo plugin de instrumentos virtuales como te acabo de mencionar. Sin embargo quedan tres "slots" disponibles para plugins de efectos y la seccion de Audio para la pista de audio estereo de Band in a Box. Sin embargo existe una solución sino quieres usar RealBand sino hasta que lo decidas para los trabajos finales de mezcla, edición e instrumentación final. Pero antes de hablar de ello, quiero advertir que nada puede sustituir o reemplazar a RealBand o a tu programa secuenciador favorito en sus funciones dedicadas.RealBand es un excelente programa diseñado como una herramienta multi-tímbrica capaz de realizar todas las tareas de audio / MIDIque desees, desde la mas simple hasta las más complicadas, además de incluir muchas de las características de Band in a Box como creador de canciones.Además, no es mi intención hacer publicidad de terceros ni tengo relación comercial con ellos en nínguna forma, simplemente creo que si existe algo capaz de mejorar nuestra experiencia con BiaB de alguna manera, se merece una mención, y la decisión de utilizar es libre albedrío de cada quien. Ok, después de esta observación, el hecho es que tienes razón Ginna, hay una manera de lograr lo que quieres, existe un programa llamado Chainer de XLUtop, una pequeña pieza de software que permite que se cargue en BiaB todos los sintetizadores y VST / plugins DX EFX que desees y permita la velocidad y potencia de tu PC. Yo lo compré originalmente con la intención de convertir mi portátil en un rack de plugins ya que Chainer es un programa independiente pero que también carga como un plugin VST en BiaB. Una vez cargado, se pueden cargar los plugins o instrumentos virtuales separadamente o en combinaciones. Por ejemplo, puedes tener Kontakt Player con un piano acústico y cuerdas, el Trilogy con el bajo y EZdrummer para la batería, separados en tres canales de Chainer mientras que la mismo tiempo tienes VCS, TSS-1 o Edirol HyperCanvas compartiendo otro canal y los tres tocando instrumentos MIDI desde BIAB al mismo tiempo y cada uno con su propio canal MIDI y un control independiente. Aqui dejo una demo grabada usando diferentes instrumentos virtuales todos cargados y funcionando al mismo tiempo en Band in a Box usando el Chainer y un solista de saxo de los RealTRacks. Es decir MIDI + AUDIO con la mejor calidad posible antes de pasar a RealBand. Y también dos imágenes de captura de pantalla: En la primera captura veran el Chainer cargado en Band in a Box con tres diferentes modulos de General Midi cargados.  En la segunda captura veran un impresionante ejemplo de configuracion avanzada de instrumentos de alto nivel trbajando todos juntos y sin problema en BiaB.  Espero que esto te ayude! With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!
Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass. There are also new electric blues RealTracks, including electric blues with PG favorite Johnny Hiland (3) and soulful electric slide guitar from Colin Linden (4). Our new country & Americana RealTracks deliver a rich collection of acoustic, electric, and roots-inspired styles! We have new country pop (9) with legendary guitarist Brent Mason. There is also a potpourri (14) of bouzouki, guitars, banjo, and more, perfect for adding texture and character to contemporary acoustic arrangements. We’ve added funky country guitar (5) with PG favorite Brent Mason, along with classic pedal steel styles (5) featuring steel great Doug Jernigan. There are more country songwriter styles (8) that provide intimate, rootsy foundations for storytelling and modern Americana writing. Finally, we have “background soloing” acoustic guitar (12) with Brent Mason — simpler, but still very tasty acoustic lines designed to sit beautifully behind vocals or act as a subtle standalone solo part.
