How do I run the updaters on my BIAB external HD? For example, I want to update the BIAB program on my installer hard drive (the external one) to build 20. ALSO, I want to install all those extra hold files and all that.
how? When I run the updaters, and I try to specify a new location, it says BIAB is not properly installed on that drive. I don't get it.
HELP!

Hello Benny, In the Installation Type screen, choose 'Change Install Location'.  Then, choose 'Install on specific hard drive'...  ...and choose the BB hard drive.  Then click Install.  It is the same for any other Band-in-a-Box add-on or update.

OK, so my problem is this... I took my original BIAB hard drive and erased it, turned it into an awesome restore drive (I copied all my mac os X installer DVDs onto it on separate bootable partitions. AWSOME in case of emergency).
ANYHOO, I've copied all my original BIAB files into a nice WD Essencial 1.5TB drive that I bought. So THAT is why I can't seem to update my original BIAB installer files. They are sitting on my WD Essencial Hard Drive in a folder. The path looks like this:
"/MyBook 1.5/BIAB 2010 Ultra DO NOT DELETE"
Are you telling me I have to copy everything back to my original installer drive, OR can I somehow change the way my folder is named or something.
Anything I can do?

So, I copied all my installer files into a mybook 500MB hard drive. I erased my original BIAB hard drive and turned it into a very nice backup disc for myself.
SO... how do I run the BIAB updaters on my BIAB files sitting on my external MYBOOK? Do they have to be in a certain order on the hard drive? To the files need to be in specifically named folders?
HELP!

Hi,
Just arrange the volume so that there is an '/Applications/Band-in-a-Box', then you'll be able to install the update.
