Select whole track, from 1-1-0 thru the end.

Edit-copy

Go to blank track and paste it at 1-1-6

pan a little either direction

Experiment with the paste location by holding ctrl, grabbing the track and sliding it a little tiny bit

Just an idea..

I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

Well here we go again.
In the world of DAWs there is no such thing as MONO. It all goes out as STEREO.

But I can record in MONO ?!?
Which of course sends the exact same signal to both Left and Right speaker .. not very stereo if you ask me.. just two monos. No depth or spaciousness. In theory it will sound dead center and mono.

That's right. That's what the pan control is for. Stereo tracks are sort of specialty tracks were and instrument may exhibit different characteristics on the left and right such as a keyboard. Never heard a stereo voice before.
Rharv this is deja vue is it not?We both are pros at this and know what each one is saying. Fun though and may be informative to some.

If you look at a single track in the tracks window, and you record it as a stereo wave audio track, using both the 1/2 inputs or left and right, and let's say it is a vocal track, you will have to side by side wave patterns. One is a left input and the other a right. But if you pan that track to 90 deg right both will go to the same place.

You can use those two wave patterns to do some stereo effects with in that track, but for all intents and purposes they are really not true stereo like two separate tracks will be.

If you record that vocal using mono setting you will only get one wave patterns in the track, and it will sound exactly the same as the stereo track does, unless you add some kind of stereo effect to that track that causes the two patterns to be phased differently, or such.

Some DAW programs actually allow you to record a simple mono input, especially where there is a mono source coming in like a vocal or guitar, and with any source you can send the left input to track 1 and the right to track2 and get true stereo

Stereo

Binaural

Two different things.

A mono track can be made into a Stereo track by simply cloning the one channel to the other. But it won't be a Binaural representation, which requires at least two mics on the sme source going to two separate channels - and careful attention to mic placement.

There are also a few plugins about that can convert mono to stereo while adding bit of artificially created binaural sounding events to the mono track.
