Hi All
Haven't posted here in a while.
Hope everyone is doing well, and playing a lot of "good" music!!
I am trying to get BIAB 2007 to play the patches of my Yamaha MO8 synth.
I've made all the necessary changes in "Utilities > Choose Patches From Higher Banks", but the sounds are not correct for the synth.
After changing these paremeters, I still cannot change the voices in BIAB from my MO8.
On top of that, certain instruments soud as if they're an octave too low!
Any Help?

Look under support for a .pat file and figure out how to use it. I don't know if any of the Yamaha .pat files there are the same as yours. Worst case, check the examples, and write a short one for the sounds you want to use.
Lots of .pat file examples there...

Hi harpo,
Yamaha MIDI is "zero based".
This means that Patch #001 in most other synths is Patch #000 on Yamaha synths.
And it continues throughout that way.
"Roland-based" is "one-based" or 001 thru 128
"Yamaha-based" or "zero-based, the same patches are 000 thru 127
Inside BiaB in the GM menu is a setting to change BiaB to send Yamaha style, be sure to check that setting to true.
