For the first 8 bars of my song the guitar rhythm track is the perfect rhythm style I want because after 8 bars it changes and is to choppy.Ive tried to copy&paste the track throughout the song but when I play back after 8 bars it reverts to the choppy rhythm again.Ive tried freezing the 8 bars but realised that I cant copy and paste it in freeze mode but must press play which generates the first 8 bars I like to a different rhythm style.If it cant be done in biab which would be a lot easier because of copying and pasting parts throughout a song then it must be RB I suppose.Thanks Frankie

I think that RB is the one to use when you want that kind of control over the parts...

Why does it change after 8 bars it must have a part marker to do this or some other reason

I was thinking the same, but I know we are talking RT's here, not midi, so it could be that the RTs tend to impose greater variablity across the bars. I know I hate to play the same pattern and voicing over and over. Guess its what your getting paid to do, and the RT musicians do like to change it up.

Remember that the RTs are just short wave files and that they are cut up to fit in the bars. So it should render a smooth track, if not i would re-render a couple times to see what you get.

If I remember correctly, RT phrases are up to max 8 bars in length, so I suspect that after 8 bars, it's choosing a different 8 bars to play.

sorry lads just got back on here.It is a real track and what happens is the rhythm changes after 8 bars to an on beat which doesnt fit right with the song.Ive regenerated a few times but then I find it changes in the first 8 bars.Any way Mac was right and I cut&pasted the rhythm I liked in rb(i wanted that train sounding rhythm throughout the song)and it works fine now.Thanks for all your help.Frankie

I gotcha Frankie, it was changing at the bar markers for the part "B" thingy. You can always on that type of situation open the song in RB, and create a track without the bar markers, and get the same pattern thru out.

 , that's now what he is saying? No part markers here, just normal variation of RT's easily solved in RB only by cutting and pasting.
