I was looking forward to the Bossa/Swing realtracks in the new beta 313 version, but the way it is set up is: A,B is Bossa; C,D is Swing, so when it goes to middle choruses for your solos you are getting the b section of bossa and not the d walking bass swing I want. Is there a checkbox somewhere in setting to select a different section for middle choruses on a per song basis?

If the song is not Unfolded the only way is to use Bar Settings (F5) to change the style. Since styles that have A,B,C,D are multistyles, you need to know what the C/D style is and use that for your middle chorus(es). Be sure to change it back to the A/B style for the last chorus.
The way I do it is to Unfold the song and just change the part marker(s) as desired.

Thanks Rachael for the good suggestions. I was using it on Night in Tunisia and prefer stick style too, so even the unfold won't work for me because section d (walking swing) goes back to brushes.
Actually an earlier workaround I did sounds better. I just used the bossa then swing pattern, changed the midi piano and midi bass to real instruments and the drums to bossa then swing sticks. I generated the piano and bass in Acoustic swing 140 and they sound pretty good. The A sections work because the double bass mostly plays on 1 and 3 when not walking and the piano just comps anyway. Now I have my great sounding acoustic bass (which was the whole purpose of the mixing) and a little more aggressive drums in the solo sections.

All you need do is insert another D part marker at the desired bar to get that.

There is always a way to work around problems. If it sounds good to you, then it IS good to you.
