Ich werde noch wahnsinnig. Ich suche verzweifelt nach Realtracks 83-101, die auf einmal nicht mehr in meiner Library sind. Ich nutzte Biab seit vielen Jahren und habe immer die Upgrade Versionen gekauft. Ich bin mir eigentlich 100% sicher, dass ich auch immer die Version mit den ganzen Realtracks/Drums genommen habe.
Nachdem ich heute die 2011er Version auf meinen Biab Harddrive installiert habe, werden diese als fehlend angezeigt. Alles andere ist da. Ich habe keine Ahnung, wo die Tracks sein könnten. Wisst ihr, wie ich checken kann, ob ich die haben müsste? Gibt es irgendwo ein altes Verzeichniss, wo steht, was in den jeweiligen Versionen enthalten sein müsste?
Ich hatte in letzter Zeit einige Computer und Systemwechsel und mich beschleicht das dumpfe Gefühl, dass ich nicht alles komplett gesichert habe und die jetzt weg sind.
Habe gerade mal nachgeschaut. Die HD, die ich habe ist die 2010er UltraPak Version, da waren doch alle Realtracks mit drin, oder? Warum werden sie dann nicht angezeigt? Ich kann ja im Realtracks Ordner nicht die einzelnen CD's sehen.

Hallo mos,
die RTs 83-101 kamen zusammen mit den Update 2010.5 im August. Version 2010 hatte damals nur die RTs bis Set 82.
Vermutlich hast Du jetzt das Special-2011-Update von Version 2010.5 genommen, statt des "normalen" von Version 2010 und daher fehlen diese Sets 83-101. Neu in 2011 sind dann jetzt nur die Sets 102-123, während Du die Sets 1-82 ja schon mit der Version 2010 hattest. Das würde die "Lücke" erklären.

Eigentlich habe ich immer alle Updates installiert, also auch auf 2010.5. Trotzdem fehlen mir diese Tracks. Werde wohl mal PG anschreiben und hören, was man da machen kann.

Das kann ich dir auch nicht mehr so genau sagen. Habe letztes Jahr einiges bei pg gekauft. Das doofe ist ja, dass man in seinem Konto nicht sehen kann, was man gekauft hat und was nicht.

Na super, anscheinend habe ich wirklich versäumt die 201.5 Version zu kaufen, weil ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt die Mac Version gekauft habe um sie zu testen. In dieser Version sind die Realpacks 83-101 drin, die kann ich aber nicht für die Windows Version gebrauchen.
Also habe ich pg gefragt, ob ich meine 2011 Version, die ich bereits gekauft habe evlt upgraden kann auf die 2011 Ultra Version. Weil ich ehrlich gesagt keine Lust habe, wieder 279 $ zu bezahlen. Die Differenz wäre ja ok.
Die Antwort war Nein! Ich bin echt im Moment richtig sauer. Ich kaufe seit Jahren jedes Jahr brav meine Upgrade Version und die können ja auch sehen, dass ich immer die großen Versionen gekauft habe. Jetzt soll ich entweder die Packs alle einzeln nach kaufen oder eben 279 $ für die UltraPack Version bezahlen, weil mein Kauf der 2011 Version länger als 30 Tage zurück liegt. Das finde ich ehrlich gesagt Sch....!
Ich glaube von mir wird es keine Tutorial Videos mehr geben. Muss mich jetzt erstmal abreagieren.

Ja, das ist schon ärgerlich.
Aber welche Version von 2011 hast Du denn nun gekauft? In allen, in denen die jetzt neuen RTS 102-121 drin sind, sind ja auch die RTs 83-101 drin.
Nur unterhalb des UltraPlusPaks sind die nicht drin - aber die ganz neuen ja auch nicht.
Das hört sich an, als ob Du doch - wie schon oben vermutet - das Special-Update von 2010.5 zum Sonderpreis von 99 $ gekauft hast, wo ja nur die Programme und die ganz neuen RTs 102-121 drin waren, alles andere war schon im 2010.5 Zwischenangebot drin.
Dann läge aber der Fehler bei PGMusic, die Dir diese Fassung gar nicht hätten verkaufen dürfen, da Du diese Zwischenversion ja nicht gekauft hattest - zumindest nicht für Windows. Das steht bei denen doch in der Datenbank. Da wären die jetzt ja in der Pflicht, den Fehler wettzumachen.
Ansonsten bis zum Sommer-Special warten ...

Keine Ahnung lt PG war es die PlusPak Version und ich dachte wohl, dass alle Realtracks drin seien, da ich bis 121 alle hatte. Es war das Angebot, was rauskam, als de neue Version angeboten wurde. Ich kaufe immer direkt, wenn es rauskommt. Kann es jetzt nicht mehr nachvollziehen, da es dieses Angebot wohl so nicht mehr gibt.
Auch auf Nachfrage hieß es erst noch Nein, das sei nicht möglich. Hatte auch gesagt, dass ich ja immer alles kaufe und sie das ja sehen könnten. Mal sehen, ich soll mich jetzt nochmal über die customer hotline melden.
Ehrlich gesagt finde ich es sowieso etwas doof, dass man beide Versionen kaufen muss, wenn man beide Systeme hat. Bei Sibelius ist das schicker gelöst. Da bekomme ich eine DVD mit der Windows und der Mac Version geschickt und kann auf beiden Systemen installieren. Da kommt es erst gar nicht zu so einem Durcheinander.

Hier das Angebot von damals. Statt der 99$ Specialversion hätte man Dir die 139$ Version verkaufen müssen. Zahlung der Differenz von 49$ und Nachlieferung der fehlenden RTs wäre kulant. Ralf

Danke Ralf, wo hast du das gefunden? Ich bin damals bestimmt davon ausgegangen, dass ich die 2010.5er komplett Version habe, weil ich das 2010.5er Update aufgespielt habe. Also wurde mir bei der Frage nach welche Version habe ich 2010.5 angezeigt. Das es eine Kaufversion mit zusätzlichen Realtracks gab, habe ich ehrlich gesagt vermutlich nicht mitbekommen.
Mir wären die 40$ natürlich auch viel lieber als evlt. nochmal 200$ zahlen zu müssen. Das würde ich mir glaube ich auch echt überlegen. Da ich die neue Mac Version ja auch wieder holen muss. Ist echt doof, dass die keine Version für beide Systeme anbieten. Ich brauche halt beide.
Werde jetzt mal abwarten, was Kent mir zurück schreibt. Gegebenenfalls werde ich ihm dann deinen Post mal zeigen. Im Prinzip hast du ja Recht, sie hätten mir diese Version eigentlich nicht verkaufen dürfen. Das hätte eigentlich für mich gesperrt sein müssen oder ein Hinweis hätte kommen müssen, dass ich nicht die erforderlichen Voraussetzungen habe.
Tja, nachher ist man immer schlauer.

Die Übersicht ist aus der Tabelle, die PGM im Dezember zum Release von BIAB 2011 per Mail verschickt hat.
Die Sache mit MAC/PC sehe ich auch so. Da sollten sie eine RT-Lizenz verkaufen, die für beide Systeme gilt.
Sind ja auch dieselben Sets, obwohl die BIAB-Versionen unterschiedlich sind (MAC immer noch 2010.5).
Am Allerbesten wäre es, wenn sie bei MAC und PC dasselbe Dateiformat für RTs einführten oder ein Konvertierungstool.

Ja, nur leider unterscheiden sich die Mac und die PC Version noch extrem. Ich war total enttäuscht von der Mac Version. Es fehlen sehr viele Dinge, die in der PC Version schon lange integriert sind und sie ist auch viel unübersichtlicher, wenn man an die PC Version gewöhnt ist. Das ist etwas, was ich nicht verstehen kann. Wenn ich eine Version mit dem gleichen Namen rausbringe, dann denke ich als Kunde eigentlich, dass ich auch das gleiche erhalten.
Das ist bei weitem nicht so. Ich hoffe ja jetzt inständig, dass bei der neuen 2011 Version das endlich angeglichen wird. Dann könnten sie das auch so verkaufen. Im Moment habe ich zig Realtracks auf der Platte, die absolut identisch sind, aber das eine Format nicht im anderen Programm geöffnet werden kann. Finde ich total bescheuert.
Andererseits kann man so natürlich auch gut Geld machen. Wenn Kunden, wie ich z,B,, eben beide Versionen haben möchten und dann eben alles doppelt bezahlen.

Ich hab' die Mac-Version nur mal kurz bei Bekannten gesehen und war auch irritiert.
Andererseits muss man die lange kontinuierliche Windows-Historie des Programms sehen und den Umstand, dass beim Mac durch den Wechsel damals vom Ur-Mac zum Unix-basierten OSX und auch der Wechsel von PowerPC zu Intel-Macs vieles neu aufgesetzt werden musste. Jetzt ist wohl auch noch eine Anpassung ans iPad nötig. Sowas ist für eine kleine Firma wie PGMusic aufwändig und teuer - und das bei insgesamt geringeren Verkaufszahlen und Marktanteilen beim Mac. Bei den Apps kassiert Apple zudem noch kräftig mit.
Trotzdem wäre eine Doppellizenz oder eine Möglichkeit zumindest zur Doppelnutzung der RealTracks sicher sinnvoll. Hier wäre mal ein energischer Eintrag in der Wishlist angebracht.
