Here I am cleaning out un-needed bits and pieces again.
Am wondering of the consequences of deleting the old installers and backups dating back to bb2004 that are in the bb main folder.
I hate 'breaking' something that I then have to go back and fix.
Seems like a no brainer to just delete these really old folders, but.............
While i have your attention, are there other, not so obvious, delete-able files/folders?

We've had this discussion many times over the years, including answers by Peter Gannon. I delete all but the one or two most recent backups: I keep one after minor patches, and two after major version changes.
Having said that, you will normally not save a lot of space, relative to the size of the RealTracks. In your case, though, the first cleansing of all those folders since 2004 might amount to a worthwhile savings.

Thanks Matt. Nine folders. Smallest=8MB. Largest=18MB. That's considerable.

Well, it's all relative. One single RealTrack file (never mind the whole folder for one instrument) is larger than either of those. If you really want to save space, erase folders for RealTracks you never use (keep a backup, of course).
