Something does seem wrong to me with this .sgu file. I can't get anything other than drum and bass to play regardless of style (RT's or Midi). And certainly what does play is not very impressive. Whats up here guys? I reviewed the event file and there is nothing to see in the midi.  I copied all chords to new file and all seems to be well over there. Somethign is "turned off" in the .sgu which was uploaded?? ok, so here is what I hear (ignoring the fact that the .sgu contains only midi drum midi bass). The drums are very sparce and don't appear to carry enough rythmn elements to pull off the bossa feel. Don't know what they call that little percussion instrument being played but without a tom, snare or kick just not much of a drum set. The fix, im my opinion, is to add Real Drums with a fuller kit.

jazzmandan, I only used the bass and drums, I muted everything else.
I thought I _was_ using RealTracks - samples of real players and not midi triggered sounds from my sound card. It's just a weird feel to me though I didn't notice that as first. I rendered that SGU file and then I noticed that the feel was strange.

Dave, Those are definitely Midi Bass and Drums in your WAV. I can't tell which synth you are using but it sounds like the Roland VSC/DXi. The drums are not even as if something else is competing for resources with BIAB. What are your system specs? If you want to use a RealDrum, either assign it or let BIAB assign it for you. There is a RD setting that will substitute RD for Midi. Look in the RD settings for that checkbox. If you want a RealTrack bass, you have to assign it to the bass part or choose a RealStyle that suits your need. R Check out THIS link or search for similar posts. It may help.
