Wenn ich Biab komplett nur von der HardDisk laufen lasse, habe ich keinerlei Sound. Weder Midi noch Real. Hat jemand eine Ahnung, ob und was ich in den Einstellungen ändern muss?

Sind denn Audio- und Midi-Teiber in den Prefs gesetzt?
Hast Du Schreibrechte auf der HD, damit BIAB die config-Datei schreiben kann?

Ja, die Audio und Midis sind in den Prefs, das Programm startet von der original Biab HD da müssten die Rechte ja eigentlich so gesetzt sein, dass das Programm direkt starten kann, oder?

Bei mir läuft's von der HD ohne Probleme. Die Soundausgabe läuft ja eh über die in Windows eingestellten Treiber, das hat mit der USB-HD ja nix zu tun.
Seltsam auch, dass Midi UND RT-Audio nicht zu hören sind. Sind ja beides unterschiedliche Wege. Nur wenn Midi über einen DXI-Synth läuft, geht es auch über den Audiotreiber.
Mach mal in den Midi-Prefs das Häkchen bei "DXI-Synth nutzen" weg und schau, ob dann wenigstens Midi über MS Wavetable erklingt.
Ansonsten könnte ich mir nur ein USB-Problem vorstellen. Hast Du ein Audiointerface über USB am Rechner? Dann könnte die USB-HD die Audioausgabe stören (Treiber- oder IRQ-Problem) oder das PC-Mainborad liefert nicht genug Strom über USB, um Audiointerface UND die HD gleichzeitig zu versorgen. Teste mal andere USB-Buchsen - auch hinten am Rechner statt Front-USB.

Es scheint nicht an Biab zu liegen, sonder irgendwas läuft nicht rund, wenn ich Paralells Desktop auf meinem Mac starte und dann in Windows möchte.
Die Pegel in den Soundeinstellungen schlagen aus, aber ich kann nichts hören. Selbe, wenn ich iTunes unter Windows auf dem Mac laufen lasse. Unter Mac OS ist alles einwandfrei.
Da muss ich wohl mal tief in die Google Welt einsteigen und versuchen herauszufinden, woran das liegt. Mit der alten Version von Paralells lief alles bestens.

Ach so, es geht um BIAB unter Windows auf dem MAC.
Parallel Desktops ist eine Virtuelle Maschine, die Soundhardware für die Windowssoftware emuliert.
Da kann die Fehlersuche in der Tat komplex werden ...
Wär vielleicht besser, für BIAB-WIN auf Deinem Mac eine "echte" Windowspartition einzurichten und damit zu booten.

Ich habe ja eigentlich die Mac Version hier drauf, aber ich arbeite einfach lieber mit der Windows Version, weil sie viel ausgereifter und bequemer ist. Mir fehlt bei der mac Version einfach, die notenbezogene Lyrics Eingabe, das Lead Sheet Window und viele, viele Dinge, an die ich mich in der Windows Version so schön gewöhnt habe.  Mich wurmt allerdings, dass ich seit Paralells 6 keinen Sound mehr habe. Das muss ich irgendwie wieder hinbekommne. Das bequeme an Parallels ist ja, dass du schön hin und her springen kannst und nicht immer neu booten musst.

Hallo,
ich hab ein anderes Problem, und zwar mit dem MIDI-Thru Kanal.
Wenn ich mit dem Keyboard spiele, dann ich nichts zu hören, obwohl auf dem Piano-Fenster meine gespielten Töne angezeigt werden. Erst, wenn ich den Song auch laufen lasse, ist auch der Thru-Kanal zu hören. So kann man kein Instrument vernünftig auswählen.
Muß ich da was einstellen oder ist das ein Bug ?
Vielleicht gehört diese Frage nicht hierher aber ich weiß nicht, wie man einen neuen Thread öffnet.
